Why should blizzard care about botting with RoS?

Hey I was just reading the ban report section and I was curious to know.... Do you think Blizzard cares about botting now in d3? It would seem like a waste of resources to catch botters.


- No Trading
- No Auction House

The only thing botting benefits right now is personal character growth, it doesn't hurt the economy at all (because there is none).

Now I could see botting be an issue when ladders come around.

What do you think?

imo, just coz bot takes too much processing vs a normal human being. and not having monthly subscription, they will need you to buy another copy of diablo if u get banned.

I think one of the reasons that Blizzard introduced no trading is to fight against botters.

more like they want to make a game that is different from all over game. so all items are Non trad-able is the first step, unique then every other game you ever play.

or they want to drive d3 to hell and never to be heard of again.

There's essentially no reason for Blizzard to care about botters anymore because they have no affect on the economy. At best the botters are botting for personal gain which doesn't impact anyone else at all. Maybe once ladders are out they will have a reason to give a shit again but in right now they really have absolutely no reason to go after botters.

My guess? You can request a refund from Blizzard within 30 days of purchase so for the next 30 days I doubt we will see any bannings or people will just request a refund. After that though it's a free for all.
