Why no more free routines?

Unfortunately, the Buddy Store did close off the developer community because the code base was no longer shared. We can't learn off of each other anymore and then people started taking other people's work and trying to sell it for profit. I get it, but it sucks none the less. For me, Singular is just too big now to try to change on my own. If all of the CR's were split out by class, it would be much easier for other developers to help out.

It seems the HB staff discourages free routines. If they stop free routines from being published or disable them from being added (many are) then it forces customers to buy paid routines, where they get a chunk of the cash. Kinda sad, but what are you gonna do.

What an unbelievable load of trolling BS!

We've got:

• TWO Community Developer forums (one has limited access for sensitive, non-public discussions),
• TWO Community Developer chats (again, one has limited access for sensitive, non-public discussions).
• We've got Wiki resources, and detailed guides for writing Combat Routines and Plugins (some, thanks to the generous Community developers).
• Community Developers have direct access to an internal bug reporting/tracking system.
• Singular—the 'free' routine that ships with Honorbuddy—is always under improvement.

If there are not 'more' free routines, its because our Community is too heavily weighted with leeches, rather than contributors. Not only that, but many in the Community feel it is their duty to criticise, offend, and demand entitlements from developers that offer free things. Basically, some bad apples in the Community make certain that developers don't offer free goodies for long. Time-and-time-and-time again we've seen these bad apples chase great developers and products out of our Community.

Do you guys do anything but leech and complain?

We are closing this thread, because it is doing nothing but causing a troll convention.
