why dont they do a raidfinder bot

What is a raid finder bot? Don't you just queue --> wait? Not played wow in forever, and when I did, I was too busy botting to do raids.

I just queue for RF and I start the bot combat. It heals for me as I sit there and eat my sammich!!. See I never understood why a raid bot or raid finder bot because, what if i need to roll on something?? The bot isn't gonna know that i need that or that Im a Mage and I dont need spirit I need hit so let the pally healer take the neck piece instead of me. Just do it by hand, its all around way to complex if you ask me.

The bot already rolls on items that are specific to your characters stats, the issue you would have is more to do with the bot know tactics for each fight. Would just be stupid.

You ask about RF and we are still waiting on DungeonBuddy ;p Hopefully lessons learned doing Dbuddy will hasten the Raid coding though....if they decide to do it.

Yee have some faith, did you check the dungeonbuddy-thread lately? Throne of the Tides and Blackrock Caverns are done already, and at least 1 dungeon gets done each day. It cant be hard to script LFR as you will be able to do with Dungeonbuddy, at least thats what I think but we'll see, at least Im positive ^^

I'm not agreeing one way or the other, but I do sort of feel the same way. I've always thought that they were making too many bots. Sure, open the market up, but do so after your original product is virtually bug free and running well. It doesn't have to be completely bug free, but at least get one finished before making another. You have the tank bot, the star wars bot, the d3 bot, gather buddy, and honor buddy. That's five different bots that have to be maintained, along with profiles, plugins, CCs, and whatever else goes along with them. I just feel like these guys, bless their hard work, are stretching themselves way, way too thin.

The issue with raid bots.... take Ds for example kill morchok run to zon'ozz right?

what if the group went to yor? what if the group went anti - clockwise instead of clock wise on trash. so many conditional's

PS. you do know lazy raider will follow a tank? bobby did some serious magic making that bot addon toss him a few questions he's a nice guy if it's not on his how too list he'll most defo help you.
