Why does it need premium or gold?

Can someone explain it to me plz? I started playing WoT yesterday but I use buddy bots for a long time now and I really have no idea why this only works with premium or gold (how much gold exactly? and why????).

Sorry but this is no reason to limit the usage of the bot only to premium user (or gold owner whatever).

Technical problems would be an acceptable reason.

It's really not that; we dont mind if you bot on one account or ten accounts, more sales for us right? The real reason is what Tony stated above, and the fact that we can't really distinguish between the player having either gold or premium account is an actual technical reason for the fact we're perfectly fine with the account having either. As the post above mentions there are "workarounds" for this now with Wargamin offering free gold for some artbitrary promotion pretty much every month, but that's not in our hands.

it would be suspicius that you have tier 9 or tier 8 tank in couple weeks after you create an account whitout buyed a single gold
so gold or premium account is some kind protection of account suspension

I see I perfectly understand this point of view, my friends are using TankLeader without premium because they have gold but they earn way less than me with my premium account

Well yeah, I'd never recommend anyone to bot without a premium account, both from an account security point of view as well as from a profits one.
