why does BOT upgrade rare items??

This problem occurs when I checked gamble option. After gambling BOT always go to cube and do something(some messages shows, BOT stopped) even if I didn't check any rare upgrade option.
If I check all upgrade option BOT operates well(upgrade and hunting) but I just want that gamble and burn rare items. Please let me know how.
