I have seen allot of topic both here in the general section and the ban section. People report killing and attacking invisible or underground mobs. Personally i have never seen such a thing and i am sure i won't see because i watch the bot like 5-10min a day.

However to the point i have been boting in WoW for quite a time now and seen plenty of underground mobs that are not bugged but placed as traps for boters for example a Bog Lord in Zangamarsh and many others. And those mobs are indeed underground and have been underground there for years for the Bog Lord in the exam since the beginning of TBC. If anyone is wondering that mob is still there in the Dead Marsh.

So why i am bringing WoW in to this is because it proves that Blizzard idd has experience in using such tactic so why is to impossible and far fetched that they use a tactic that they already use in another of there games?
Is this tactic impossible to do in Diablo 3 or something else ?

Well when something is not understood it gets ruled out.

When it is completely talking out your ass, it is ruled out. The bot is getting hung up in certain areas, but at what point is it attack/killing an invisible/underground mob? Check your logs, not your screen.

It is not being ruled out; simply there hasn't ever been any proof of such detection tactics in diablo 3. This has been well documented for range of other mmorpg etc games, but not the most popular ones. I have personally seen it in couple of PRIVATE lineage2 servers, but that's about it. The general belief is, that Blizzard won't bother to code and implement such a low-tech detection method, as there are a number of both simpler and more effective ones they could choose between, provided they wanted to. (such as gathering info for errors that no human behavior could have caused). My personal opinion is, that blizz just profits from botters. They us do our thing for a certain amount of time and then issue bans(in hope botters would have broke even and will purchase another key/s). Think about it, makes perfect sense.

From my experience with botting, everyone just wants something to blame when they get banned. It is never their fault for botting to begin with, it is either the program or Blizzard being shady. The fact that most of these guys don't take into consideration is that it's not about "if" you will get banned, but "when" you will get banned lol.

Bans happen and if it isn't by "underground mob detetection" it's through hundreds of other possible flags that you could be detected for.

I like how ban emails always say 'multiple violations'.

Its like they let us rack up a few before banning.

I have suspected all along, that they flag us early, but let us bot simply to maximize profits via our sales on the rmah. Then they say they need time to gather solid evidence of a person botting, while in reality they knew about it weeks/months ago. One way or another, blista08 said it well. If you are gonna bot, better accept it is a matter of time to get hammered and just play along. I transfer stuff at least twice a day out of paranoia xD :)

There is an invisible wall in core of arreat about halfway through map before it breaks to the right. run along right side and when the south - north portion of the map turns right, its right before that.

its around the same place the little cove or walking ramp down to the lava is on the right. its been there for awhile i noticed it when i used to multibox myself.

Dunno if it means anything or not, but its def something that hinders/stops movement and its invisible.
