Who wants an alternative to GB2?

You could jigger your points a bit to make it more random, but you have to worry about not only your own points, but the underlying navigation mesh as well.

I wish you luck tho! Lots of us miss botting. I hope it makes a hearty comeback.

So far, and for nearly 4 weeks now I've been farming heavily with 2 accounts and they are still going. Had I been running these accounts with GB2 in the same way I would banned by now. Yes, there is a chance these accounts are flagged and likely to be banned buy the fact they are still going speaks volumes.

I've been running 2 accounts online for as long as possible, the longest single session only was ~30 hours. If they disconnected I would reconnected them immediately. Both characters were farming multiple zones, MoP (The Jade Forest, Vot4W, Dead Wastes), te other was in Northrend (Sholazar Basin, Ice Crown, Stormy Peaks). Both were set to Randomly AFK every 25-55 minutes for a min 4 minutes. One character mailed goods to a bank alt (on the same account) and the other simply destroyed everything it harvested. Both used Randomly selected node locations; this saw each character crossing zones incredibly frequently, I've recently changed one of these to use the closest node location which sees it only moving to the next zone every 30-60 minutes.

Its been over 2 weeks now since I started this experiment and I'm rather surprised they have not been banned yet. I'm going to continue running them like this for another 2 weeks, or until they get banned. I'll let you know how it goes :)

Update, they are still running. Still farming.
 
I stopped all of my farmers and am now waiting for FarmerJoe, just got banned again.

Really looking forward to this!

Your are not alone Kjin :) I will be waiting too of this fantastic project :) My farmers are ready to go with FJ but without FJ i will not farm again

I honestly think that you're just gonna get banned again reading ur threads it's likely not lcp that's getting you banned.
 
As exciting as this sounds and as much as I admire your time and effort and dedication to this project, I hope that once it does go public it is not a short term solution. I can only imagine the amount of farmers who will run this in the beginning with the mindset that it is "undetectable"

It bares being said that people are still going to have to use some common sense....
 
Here you go as promised FPS, A collection of Horde Mailbox/Vendor Locations throughout the game. Sorry it took longer than I expected.

A few thoughts here, First: I am not claiming this is "All" of them, but I'd say its probably at least 90% of them. Second: I tried to leave out the areas that I knew for sure were Rep reliant or were phased but I know I did not eliminate nearly all of those areas (some examples are Icecrown, I just grabbed all that I knew of, but I know many of those areas are phased, also in Shatt I grabbed the Scryer and Aldor tiers which are rep dependant, but theres not alot of other choices in Shatt). Third: In some areas and towns I grabbed multiple Vendors and or Mailboxes, I highly doubt you will want to use them all, but I recorded them to give you choices in case one works better than another, this is especially true for capital cities. (if you'd like me to thin them out, I can).

At any rate enjoy, and I hope this helps. Looking forward to a release of Farmer Joe!!!

for the archy thingy ...
my first idea / suggestion is to let archbuddy kick in when the digsite count is 1 or above on the current map
this can be done by using lua

Getting this to work with Arch Buddy would be a great step towards a public release and any help would be greatly appreciated :)

What I plan to do here (based on the premise that FJ is running in secondary mode and Arch Buddy is primary) is:
1. From FJ check if a dig site is within X yards
2. If so then FJ's 'RequirementsMet' (used for Secondary botbases) = FALSE, and control is then passed to Arch Buddy.


Its similar to how I'm doing it with AutoAngler
1. From FJ check if a fishing pool is present
2. If so then AutoAngler takes over
2.1 If not, continue harvesting.

EDIT: I don't need anything from AB exposed, FJ just needs to be able to see dig sites. HB + AB do the rest.

EDIT: Alternatively it could be done the other way around; FJ only 'activates' when a node is present thereby taking over from AB.

EDIT: 5 minutes work and AB + FJ are working together. While its not the way I want to do it this just proves its doable.

Ideally I'd like Farmer Joe to detect dig sites and then bow out to AB, but the way this is running AB is primary and FJ only 'activates' when a valid harvestable object is found.

 
I'm in need of a level 90 Horde character on a US server for testing purposes. I'll need to use it for about 2-3 days.

Unfortunately I only have characters on EU-Realms, but if you need a horde char on an EU-Realm, hit me up, I might have something.

I have a horde US account you can use as long as you need, it's an extra bot account I'm not using right now, only catch is it ran out of time a couple weeks ago. I can add time to it if needed, I just haven't gotten around to it. Shoot me a PM if you are still looking.
