lmao thats what I keep thinking over and over.. so many people are like "well if they could detect demonbuddy, EVERYONE would be banned!!".. not really. Blizzard bans 70% just so that 70% rebuys. If they banned 100% nobody would be buying more copies of d3.....

Owned by blizz. Taking their cut.

67% of all statistics are made up on the spot. What difference does it make if they ban 70% of DB users or 100% of them? People who are in it for the long haul are going to rebuy no matter what. I'm amazed at all you idiots who legitimately think that they wouldn't ban every single account flagged if it was a software detection...

I made plenty of money off this thing. $60 ain't shit.

Its logic.. "70%" was made up to prove a point. If they banned 100%, everyone would understand that demonbuddy is detectable and they wouldnt rebuy the game. Yes, some would still try but most wouldn't.

Think about it this way. If you were blizzard, would YOU ban everyone? No.. too many people would think its the end of botting and not rebuy those "4-5" more copies (another EXAMPLE, just like the "70%"). Instead, they get people like you to think "well, they cant possibly detect demonbuddy since not everyone is banned!" and you go buy more copies. Talk about "idiot".

I dont care if you made more money than the game is worth.. I just said.. blizz is taking their cut. LOL

you're right, because demonbuddy is the only d3 bot out there right? so if DB is detected and 100% of the users are banned, NOBODY is EVER gonna bot again, are they? lol the ignorance on this forum as of late is astounding.

there are definitly chinese bots with larger player base out there. maybe someone allready got an custom client for d3 and is running more clients private than db has customers..
hb is a fairly small piece of the cake.

Your the ignorant one.. of course I know there are more bots out there, dont be so ignorant yourself.
My point is still proven.. Blizzard sees the bans as additional revenue. They wouldnt want to ban "all" bots, since it would scare away revenue. People are saying that if they could detect all bots they would ban them all. false

Who cares if they can or cant, they wont.. they just want to control the amount of them so it doesnt ruin the game or the perception of the game (which is why they ban in waves). While at the same time creating revenue from the bans.

I don't think it matters to some people how detectable they are, unless bans start rolling out nearly instantaneous (even < 1 week) people will continue powering through because it's still turning a profit.

ive been afk for 2 weeks so no botting done. got back yesterday to see all these bans. updated DB to 290. left bot on for 16 hours, still going when i woke up this morning. im not at the selling gold stage yet. im just collecting gold / gear for my first bot.

Lost my 3 bots. Purchased a new d3 (at regular price ugh) to get a 60 ready and past the 72 hour verification crap (i can't interact w/ auction house). Figure I'll get a 60 ready to farm and wait for d3 to go on sale somewhere before I buy more copies.

Using Vmware, virtual private network servers, according to tinfoil haters I should be banned.
12/12 still going strong :D

Newegg has sell on it..25% off.

Didn't even know what happened. Botted two accounts for 15-18 hours last night then switched to another two about 8 hours ago.

this could be because sometimes they will first ban on US and EU bans will follow the day after (in about an hour from now on to be precise). however, some eu-people claim to have been banned yesterday which would contradict my previous statement. i wouldnt get my hopes up already though...

Lost 5 of the 8. 2 of them were main accounts that have been around for a long time and the others were two weeks or younger. I'm going to keep going with the remainders that I do have but giving it a couple of days of cooling off. If I find a good $10 D3 deal like before, I'll purchase some more accounts, but for now I'm hiding in the shadows.
