I just want to make sure my main battle.net stays clean from bots. That's why I use the bot only on my laptop and on my brand new battle.net. Same name and IP though. I hope that doesn't hurt. In case I want to move over my characters in the future.

You're still not protected. There's multiple ways blizz could tie your accounts together. If you're going to bot, expect to lose your accounts. It's that simple.

leveling 4 just see if get banned all on diffrent battle nets on on level 6 one on 63 another on 58 and one just hit 90 one brand new one scroll one old not been used in over a year and one off a battlenet that lost 2 just see what happens hehe.

leveled 5-6 to level 20 on a new trial account and on the wife's new laptop (never had wow on before ban wave) just purchased full account key and started to level past 20 now, will see how it goes i suppose.

Let me pose a scenario.

Let's say that you ran a bot company. Five years in, you have your first banwave. hits 1000s (if not more) of your users. Now, you know that the company that makes the game your bot works in has little fanbois (and girls) crawling your forums waiting to run back to mama and tell everyone everything.

Would you give ANY info out in the forums (like the fact that you know how they caught you)?

As nice of a little fantasy this is it reminds me of religion. people will even believe a magic man lives in the sky, listens to our pleas, and polices our sex lives cause it makes them feel better. Honestly if bossland cared who ran back to blizzard they wouldn't lie to us, they would just privatize the forums.

with questing the only need to monitor the order when you took a quest and when you did turn it in rellay simple i would exactly do that in the level between 90-100 and it does not Matter what Questbot you use eve if it is the one that is gone Private in the last weeks and called HB users Noobs!

You make it sound like x64 is the only way to go when realistically, it makes no difference to Warden or Blizzard. Do you think Warden scans players to see if they are running a x86 client on a x64 system? No, they don't. And they wouldn't target players using the x86 instead of x64 because it is an available option in the battle.net client....

Honorbuddy overall at this point is not "safe". Sure it never was.

You don't know that we have. No one does. It's pure speculation.

Honorbuddy had never had a banwave before like the one at 13th May.

A lot of great bots have had theirs. We went five years without one. That's a feat.

Bossland stated they don't know how we got busted.

And I have no reason to doubt him on this. You don't either.

So what does this say? Honorbuddy is not "safe".

They've said this since the beginning. No one ever implied that any type of botting was safe. And they strongly encouraged players not to bot on accounts they would he unhappy to lose.

And [until] 13th May I felt "safe" [using] HB.

You were lulled into a false sense of security because of Honorbuddy's amazing track record. A lot of us were.

I will wait and see.

Let's be honest, HB is still the best for all other PVP, questing, dungeonbuddy, gathering, etc. If we went back in time, and they never support Arena to begin, we'd have all still bought it, and still received our moneys worth. It's worth waiting for.

Perhaps a next banwave will come.

Inevitably. Hopefully, later rather than sooner. And hopefully, when it does, you and I dodge the bullet like I did this time.

And no, I'm not only pointing at Kick's.

A lot of you guys really are. But it's part of dealing with loss. You're looking for someone to charge with the crime, and that's natural. If you're going to blame anyone, I'd normally say blame Blizzard. But really, we have no one to blame but the person in the mirror. We knew what we did. We knew what the consequences were going to be.

I, personally, have faith in Kick's as much as I have faith in HB. I am using it non-stop and it's a life saver. I work so much, that re-leveling toons would take me decades. Within a month, I'll have 11 brand new 100s from scratch. I'm betting everything I have (main account and all) on Kick's. And I don't feel like I'm taking any more of a chance than anyone else.

Not once has anyone said that there's a new Warden. They've simply said that they don't know how the bot was detected.

Just called it Warden call it what you want! I was there when glider got hit in 2008 and Gatherbuddy in 2009 in both instances it was not warden who detectet us!

With glider it was a Windows Bug they used to go around the Glider driver

and with Gatherbuddy it was the same Memory Address as a Hacking Tool wich was also the real target!

After reading numerous of your posts I have to stop you right in your tracks and let you know a few things....before I am forced to punch you.

1. BOTTING IS NEVER EVER EVER EVER SAFE. So I don't care about how safe you felt for the 5 years that you "THINK" Hb went undetected. NO ONE knows what happened, for all we know they could of had a way to detect HB from DAY 1 but decided to wait 5 years in order to make money!, or they could of found out exactly how to beat HB on the 13th of may! The things that are executed by Blizzard are down so systematically typically. So I would assume that they had something up their sleeve. So you can't expect a yes or no answer from anyone telling you that "Your account is safe". You want assurances when there are none. End of story.

2. Don't Bot if you aren't willing to accept the loss. I go to the store and I buy a pack of smokes for 8$. Which is the same what my battlechest key got me. Do you think I give a damn if I lose that pack of smokes? smoke them all? etc? You are the one who is valuing your account(s). There are two sides of the coins and one is that there are players who love the game and bot because they want to take advantage. Then there are botters who play the game because they love to bot! Some of us don't look at our account and find this great value in it. Where is all that value going to go in 20 years from now? Down the drain. End of story.

I thought about buying 4 battle chests and a Honorbuddy key for 3 additional sessions and botting the crap out of some gathering or whatnot on Druids with maxed flight speed. Too bad you can't mine and herb in stealth.

I didn't question the accuracy of his statement. I was merely remarking on the fact that he's acting like a degenerate. I have no toleration for keyboard warriors who feel "forced to punch [someone]".

There are appropriate ways to communicate, effectively. One wouldn't act this way in their daily walk of life and still have all of their teeth.

Okay, so..... back to OP maybe?

I've been botting a gnome monk (brew) for about 10 hours today. Just hit level 30. Using Kick's and Singular on US servers.

Only dc's once, but that was due to an internet outage that lasted close to an hour.

No problems (so far) on any toon that I have created and lvl'd with HB. Seems to be running smoothly thus far, so thanks BL and his dedicated core of devs!
