Who has been leveling and is still up?

Hello,

Atm, I am leveling a second character. It's level 50 now and it goes insanely slow. So I am very tempted to start botting again. Although at this account I have a boosted level 90 which I leveled to 100 now (mogged/semi geared). So the account begins to mean something to me.

I really wonder who is still botting, using Kick's or whatever profiles to get their toon to 100 without being banned (yet). Ofcourse we never know if Blizzard already flagged you guys. And looking at the ban section, seems pretty dried up by now. So, who's leveling out there with succes?

1. Which profiles (Kick's/Cava/etc)?
2. Since when did you start?
3. How long are you botting per day?
4. What level is your character now?

5. Has the account you're botting on been banned before?
6. Do you use another account under the same battle.net or completely different?

Thanks.

1. I used Kicks to level from 90-100
2. I started the day HB came back up
3. Ranges from 6-14 hours
4. 100 - Farming now. found trinket and ring epic in the last 2 days.

i mostly lvl my healing classes to 15 then do dungeons all the way from 15-100 manually with the routine i find it out that kicks profiles is to known and evrywhere where i use kicks i see other questbotters i find it to dangerous to use. all the way up to 100:) but my account has full heirlooms i dont need quest gear.

I botted a char 89-90 when HB came up and am going to use kickz 90-100 soon with some plugins and see what happens. No ban yet.

4 groups of RAF'ed characters up to 85 using another bot, the rest of the characters granted up to 85 for 11 total 85's. RAF was started 2 or so hours after the banwave. This is on my main b.net account that 2 accounts were banned on:

6 so far have been leveled to 100 from 85, all using kicks with Singular (pally, druid, rogue, monk, mage, shaman)
As stated above, RAF was started 2 hours after the banwave
botting 22-24 hours a day
Yes, there are currently 3 banned accounts on this b.net, 1 permanent, 2 6 month bans.
No other accounts under this b.net currently are running.

Call me a noob but how do you RaF your own accounts? And how to you boost your characters up? Run 2 bots in party and questing? (I'm not going to risk dungeon farming).

I'm not going to explain the process, blizzard has FAQ pages that basically explain how RAF works. But yes, you could have 100 accounts linked to your main account if you wanted.

As I said, I used another bot and a key cloning software program. Takes about 8-10 hours to get a group of 5 to 85, longer if its your first time.

If you aren't going to risk dungeon farming, raf's probably not for you. In fact, botting as a whole isn't for you. Dungeon farming is one of the least obvious farming methods.

There's 100's of threads on these forums that explain the process of using HB to RAF level. Doing a little searching and you'll find plenty of answers to your question.

I know how Raf Worked. Did it twice in the legit way with a friend of mine. We leveled toons by hand doing dungeons. I just wondered how it was done by botting. But anyway I guess I will look it up myself then. Also, less obvious? I read numberous of ban threads over the years where I see people being banned for dungeon farming. Always 5/5 teams. (RaF I assume).

There's a difference between being obvious and being stupid...

Using a high level character to farm a dungeon over and over and then incurring the dungeon reset timer while your bot sits outside the enterance with 30 other bots is just plain stupid.

Using dungeonbuddy to farm dungeons, while never leaving the dungeons other than to repair (and usually that's one character at a time) is completely different.

LFG tool for dungeons is pretty fast until about 85, and not too bad from 85-90. Im sure it's especially fast right now with all the "new players".

1. Which profiles (Kick's/Cava/etc)? both Kick's and Cava

2. Since when did you start? several days ago

3. How long are you botting per day? 6hrs on, 1 hr off, then back on again

4. What level is your character now? got 3 toons up to lvl 40 and 1 up to 60

5. Has the account you're botting on been banned before? yes, my WoW1 was hit for 6 months in the ban wave

6. Do you use another account under the same battle.net or completely different? Same battle.net account, now under WoW2

1. Which profiles (Kick's/Cava/etc)? Kick's

2. Since when did you start? The split second the bot came back online.

3. How long are you botting per day? 24 hours a day/7days a week, non-stop, except for when I come home to a disconnect or some kind of error.

4. What level is your character now? got 3 toons up to lvl 40 and 1 up to 60

5. Has the account you're botting on been banned before? Never. My botting behavior has always been reckless.

6. Do you use another account under the same battle.net or completely different? I use my primary account to bot. Go big or go home. I have nothing that I'd be disappointed to lose except my heirlooms. If I got banned permanently, I'd quit WoW and go play another game.

U cant have 100 u can have only 8 :)

I think he meant that you can "recruit" 100 people if you want to. You can make 100 new battle.net accounts and then recruit them. Which makes them linked to your account. He didn't mean that you can have 100 WoWo accounts under the same Battle.net :)

This is not true at all. You can only have 8 accounts per b.net account, but you can recruit as many people and emails as you'd like.

Taken directly from the Recruit-A-Friend FAQ page:

"Q: I’ve recruited someone already—can I do it again?
A: Yes! You can recruit as many people as you like, and with the new reward system you’ll have a variety of mount and pet rewards to choose from when each of your recruited friends purchases two months of game time."

Currently at lvl 64 using Kicks and Singulair

On account with 6 mo ban

Trolling on forums it looks like EU players are experiencing bans. I have not seen any posts with US bans after the wave. Could be they are flagging and waiting? Who knows...will continue to lvl with kicks and get a bunch to 90 before I commit to buying WoD.

I have seen 2 ban reports in the ban section today. Using Kick's it seems is still quite risky. I am not going to risk my new account. Also, I bet there will be another banwave sooner or later. Why wouldn't there? Bossland said they have no idea how HB got detected. Apart from that, the 13th May banwave came out of the clear sky, so I bet the people who are botting with HB now, will lose their effort in the next banwave. Which is a fact.

Wrong. Using Kick's Profiles to level since banwave (where I was not hit). Druid -> 67 DK -> 76 Rogue -> 91 and counting...

I bought 24/7, recklessly, with HBrelog, full AFK checking the laptop when I get home from work and correcting the occasional crash of disconnect.

You guys need to stop villifying (sp?) Kick's and start considering the possibility that Blizzard is just watching you. Kick's is fine.

You don't get my point. Honorbuddy overall at this point is not "safe". Sure it never was. But we were never detected. Honorbuddy had never had a banwave before like the one at 13th May. Bossland stated they don't know how we got busted. So what does this say? Honorbuddy is not "safe". And untill 13th May I felt "safe" unsing HB. I will wait and see. Perhaps a next banwave will come. And no, I'm not only pointing at Kick's. Just HB overall.
