Botting in twiligh highlands and some guy wispered me"fucking botter" "reported". So i come back 30 min later or so and see that so i wisper him and say "you wispered" lol. No response. So I say "People who see botters usually are botters and you look like your not responding and your in twilight highlands so I get reported or banned ill make sure to know who I should report back".

Is that good or did I just screw myself. I hate people who report.

Unless you can reply in seconds (which most of us cant) no point in saying anything. Saying something back after 30 minutes is pretty much admitting you're botting. Nothing you can say will ever convince the person you're not botting. Also most people that say they're going to report you actually don't.
 
Well those ShutUp addons gives an even bigger chance of being reported imo..

Why is that? Makes no sense. You can even manage the time of response and the things you whisper back. If you're smart, you can even look like a player, who SIMPLY doesnt want to be annoyed.
 
Well, for hopes, he may just wanted to "scare" you.
Maybe reported, maybe not.

Just stop botting for couple of days or so. :3 And see what happens.

There are some cases, where somebody have reported a normal player for botting.
Cause they wanted that guy banned. You might always get a way with it.

ShutUp addons are quite nice.
I have addon that tells people "I'm full-time roleplayer, you can't whisper me unless you are at my friend-list."
 
yeah, just bot another toon for some days... thats what i do after being "reported"

How is it that it makes no sense?

If I would see one 16-18 hours in Uldum/TH - using a ShutUp addon, I wouldnt even need to see how "he" acts, it would instantly raise a red flag.
 
I don't think anything will happen, just wanted to scare you. But, in my opinion, what you did was probably the dumbest thing you can do.

Come back 30 minutes later, whisper back, then go on a rant about how he must be a bot too. You just admitted that you are a bot.
 
Personally I /ignore people i see who whisper me "reported" so it looks like to the GM (if they even did report me AND it gets looked at) that i /ignored them because they were bothering me or whatever. Does this work at all, no clue, just something I do.

My real life friend once got banned for being reported for botting when he doesn't bot! LOL. He was just farming something for awhile. Well he emailed the GM telling him he normally reports all hack farmers (under the world stuff) and the GM appologized, gave him one month game time, and kept the ticket open so he can edit it with new underground botters he sees.
My friend also claims he got the GM's personal email and phone number, but that seems kinda a stretch to me....

Im okay with someone saying something is a better option, but a little bit of an explanation other than just saying wrong is due here. Me personally I would love to know why you think hes wrong, personally i agree(with the other guy) but am not bias. I would love to hear your opinion though.
 
Curious if your account still ok until now? :D Cause I really confused.. A week ago around 3 people whispered me like that.. So i start botting my other toon in diff server last night.. and this morning I just found someone whispered me "test bot" "test".. It really make me feel so bad.. Because i even didnt have chance reply them..
Why botter want to report other botter.. Ggrrrr
 
Get the fastest fly speed as possible, make your own farming profiles, get the shutup addon and you will be golden
