I keep hearing this around the hacker forums about a leak that sent out your user/pass and even the auth stuff out to some site.

What is the status on this and could it in anyway be linked with the bans? I was going strong for 2+ months and all accounts were banned (10) at the same time while online. (all under proxies, etc.)

God some people are PARANOID as hell.

Paranoid? Its already confirmed. Do a bit of research before you speak and you'll probably appear less of an ignorant ass hole.

Ah okay if it was build 10 I didn't have that build but several processes do open/close when I start DB.. Too lazy to really inspect myself, but I would like to hear if other versions were infected as well.

what i am interested in is why didn't it work on virtual machines?

the link i linked is the same one in that thread. so you can find all the information there.

as far as what it does or didnt do, it was specifically tailored to look for and do certain things.
if your worried run a virus scan, and change your battle.net password. if you never used a beta version of DB or HB in the past month or so, then you should be fine.

i was using an infected beta that was in a virtual machine. i changed the password from my real computer and then deleted the virtual machine. no big deal. but i am curious why this keylogger didn't run on virtual machines as stated in that link.

i decided to change password and delete the virtual machine anyway because i can't trust a system like that.
