Blood because its not much slower than Frost for killing mobs and its a lot more survivable if it starts pulling too many.
Also pvpers hate taking my blood dk on as they can tank them for ages, so many times I've checked on my blood dks and seen them next to a broken corpse of some guy who figured he could take my bot out.

If I was on a pve realm I might roll Frost but to be honest Blood is just so good you hardly ever have downtime.

Guess it depends on how you are leveling. I went 85-90 grinding a spot where I don't pull more than 3, so I went frost and there was little downtime. The XP/HR was slightly higher than blood.

i lvled mine as blood and with looms untill 85, zero downtime and stuff died pretty fast.

I go blood and multi-pull 4 mobs at all times. It is amazingly fast.

the nice thing about blood is, you don't need to buy food or heal. and if you rez with half health, you just taunt and kill something, and come out with 90% health.

Hello, my advice would be along these lines. If your using singular, set blood boil targets to 1 and level as blood. And change to frost at 80 when blood boil isnt as overpowered anymore.
