I've been using Kicks profiles up until 57 but noticed that it like to go into 'grinding' mode which i did not like. I've also noticed a few times when i leave my bot on, it just stands there constantly clicking on an NPC to hand in the quest, but never actually hands in the quest.

About to put my bot into outland, but read that a few people experienced bans from kicks profiles in outland and wotlk.

Question is, whos profile do you use and which do you think was the best and safest? Kicks or Cava's?
 
I have not tired cava's but i must say that kicks is pretty damn good. Every now and then my guy gets stuck at a flight master, but other than that it can do great things. Safer...which ever profile doesnt make you look like a bot (running into a wall for 20 minutes etc), although i think that honor buddy takes care of the mesh and all that. So it comes down to which bot has less bugs. I would stick with kick's

Cava doesnt have a full BC or WOTLK script at the moment, so nobody can tell you which one is better.

*edit* wrong ... there is just one... so thats the best you get
 
I prefer Cava's from 85-90 and kick's from 1-85
 
Very interesting poll. I've never used Cava's, so I'm not going to vote.

there's some bugged quests in 5.3 anyway :/ and mesh issues in Storm Peaks with Native Flying.
 
I'm not going to vote either cuz I do the same as dayloon. I would however think that Cava's MIGHT be safer. But strictly because less people use it. Everyone and their mother uses Kick's... But for good reason.

noob question: if you are using kicks 85-90 and suddenly you want to try cava's, profile wont have issues with chain quest or smt?

To be completely honest I don't know. When I switch I start at the beginning of an expansion. For example, I have LogMeOut setup to stop the bot the second it hits 85. The I start up Cava's from 85-90. So I never have any real issues. I wouldn't think it would matter though. I would assume either would just compile quests then start when it figures out where you are at.

P.S. I finally used Kicks from 85-90 just last week and its pretty good. So I'm very even opinioned on both profiles now. The main reason I originally used Cava's was because is came out 1st for 85-90 for Alliance. And since it worked for me I just continued using it.

At this point in the expansion regardless of which profile you pick, you will hit 90 with minimal issues.

I find both are excellent.

I've recently started using Cava's just because I've never used them before and I like that it takes a different route in levelling. My only critism is that my hearthstones (if I even have one in the bag) often end up getting set miles away from Org which I like to pop back to for various reasons, being at the dark portal with no flight paths attached is a PITA sometimes :D That's just personal preference though, the levelling process is very good, which ever set of quests you do.
 
I'm helping cava out right now and, I have to say, I think it is better written than kicks. It seems a lot smoother and less issues. BUT it's all preference. I've ran into so many issues with kicks stuff and tried to help.. he's just too damn busy. I talk to cava almost daily.

both are good but for me kick's is best (and master lord kick rulez :P)
 
Imo. questing has too many stucks atm. (only tried kicks, so can't speak for cava's) i've tested running Botanist's pangaea profile, which works brilliant.
 
If you wane do questing get kicks profiles it has level 1-90 cava's is not complete yet

And about stucks it maybe a handful nothing to worried about
 
For some reason I am having an extremely hard time with kicks profile. I cant understand why, It always gets stuck at the start of a new questing zone and stops, or it tries to pick up or turn in quests not there. It also loves to ride the elevator in warsong hold.... I got it to work for a little but it would only grind and not quest. I gave up on it.
