I know this is probably talked about allot and disputed but I just want to see what everyone thinks.
For awhile the depositing in gbank method was considered to be the safest way but recently allot of people are getting banned using that method.
What if face to face with the person receiving the gold puts in a cheap gray item to at least make it look more legit is safer? how about Face to face trading in small amounts using above method <1000g at a time?

Another idea would be to deposit in a gbank on a vanila account for the amount that you want to sell, no more and give the account info to the buyer to login and exfer the gold to whatever toon he wants to. that way if bliz investigates the account you could claim your account was hacked and get away with a ban maybe. maybe even get a restore?. And later change the password to the account.

I'm just throwing out ideas, would like some feedback.

I would asume Give buyer account info to vanilla account with right amount of gold on (different IP) but that's gonna cost you :P

Now days I don't think you can really be sure. Quantity of money doesn't matter because I know players that have 100k on their characters fully legitimately and guild banks of big guilds usually have far more than that at time.

I've personally used all methods, mail, f2f, guild bank, transferring through neutral AH. My current accounts have not been suspended. I have not sold any gold though so that might be a different story.

Trade it to a trusted buddy for an item. Then get your buddy to trade you the gold on your desired character.
Thats what I've been doing.

When selling gold I believe gbank withdrawal where the buyer is withdrawing is the safest way to deal. I have a vanilla as guild master and he is doing all the trading. I have sold between one and two million gold now and have never got any account closed but the buyer have (chinees). I dont know if it is luck or what it is but it have worked for me so far.

how would you safetly transfer the money from botter to a banker though? i'd rather lose a 16 dollar vanilla banker rather than my bot...

if you have two accounts can't you do the same thing?

The difference is in the details. The friends account would probably have tons of legit history and non-botter like characteristics. Play time, ah activity, raiding, etc. That type of camouflage is tough to fake.

If you dont mind risking your accounts and your buddies thats a great idea...

In the old days, I would grind some low lvl mobs for items, then wrap them up in the wrapping papaer sold by npc's, then trade these to my farmers for high amounts of gold, and just store them in my bank unwrapped.

I felt it looked less suspicious..

If you want to keep your main accounts safe the only way to move gold to your vanilla account 100% safe is thru the auction house. It cost gold to do this but even if your vanilla account gets banned, your main account cant because you have broken no rules by buying things from the auction house. I take my vanilla account and put stuff up in 5k chunks. Then buy it from my mains.

When was a trade ever really safe? I don't think it ever was, the SAFEST but grueling way is to transfer small portions at a time. Say you are trading 5KG, Transfer 100-200G at a time or smaller, but trade throughout many characters. So if you have 5 characters, have them transfer X amount of gold a little at a time.

If you are selling gold this is the best way by far. I have sold lots of gold this way with no ban ever from selling gold.

the only foolproof way is to do it thru the AH. You cant get banned

Ive researched this allot and ive even paid money for trials of those sites that are full of farmers and info on sellers/buyers/methods etc and from what ive gathered theyve all said that the safest way is to

Invite your vanilla to guild make them gleader withraw less than 10k at a time and then delete the lvl one they got it on (once the lvl xfers it to a toon on the same acc) and then when that acc sells it to do the same with a guild on that acc.

*edit* inb4 ur a noob etc by those sites i mean ones where they claim to make lots of money from botting etc. Yes theyre gimiks but they do have some minor info i usually join for like a dollar and then read what i need and leave.

What a great idea. It probably doesn't help in any way, but still cool.
