Which is better, Kicks grind/quest profiles for alliance, or for horde?

I would say Alliance, thats my opinion.
Reason: Kick plays alliance i believe, and he has stated that hes has done countless run throughs on his alliance profiles and only a few for horde. So i would say Alliance.

alliance is more developed than horde.

I do play alliance and I have ran that profile 80 times vs the horde profile ... which i've ran like 40 times (i have toons running 1-80 horde 24/7 since beginning of january).

The horde profile has more 'in combat' stucks which is why it has a few more issues than the alliance as well.

But grinding vs quest? questing the whole way

I can't say since i play only horde but if i would chose between Kicks questing profile(even tho some quests need user assistance and few minor bugs, sually faster lvl 85ding handleveled) or hand leveling over and over again doing the same q i woulds say Kicks without a doubt.

Kicks ally, I've used both horde and ally profiles before and ally always seemed more advanced like he already said

I have minor problems with turnins on the 1-58 profile 80 to 82 or what ever it was in hyjal ran almost flawlessly. I think id the 1-58 was redone it would be perfect.

turnins are not a *profile* issue

i've been overseeing the 1-80 horde profiles again and they're running a lot better

The only issues i'm having on Horde is with meshes. Not Kick's profile!

practical answer : Kick's profiles for both , cause there aren't any other even close to his. im only pissed on singular cc it is so good and smart that is kinda annoying ) also beats the crap of other toons when questing from opposite faction. other cc's with kicks profiles didnt worked well for me, the cc must be fast with no downtimes and dont set to true the ignore checkpoints cause some maps have some chain quests, just let the toon make all the quests even if on green, will grind less at lvl 36 to 37 and 76 to 77 ...

did 1-70 with a human pala, worked great ...
did 1-80 with a tauren pala worked even better...

only had 2 "problems" if you wanna call them that, i call them minor costs with something awesome.
it's deffonatly worth it, 5/5 from here

i always found it to glitch when updating the flight paths, which was infuriating.

after reading through logs.... i figured out that questing mode can't handle the new automatic flight path discovery without reloading the HB client. only explanation i can think of, because a simple start/stop won't fix it, a complete restart will.

it doesn't come up much though after level 30 on horde, so IDK. it could be the cached files or the auto-discovery based on character level that's glitching the flight path update. since i'm questing when i'm using flight paths, it's the only way i notice the glitch.

as you said, there probably should be a 2nd file in the folder if you want to complete an area with ignore checkpoints set. i kept a copy around which really helped complete loremaster on my main toon, especially on the new/old areas where you don't know what's changed.

it did get stuck in dustwallow and northern barrens trying to take quests that it hadn't done pre-req's for, it skipped the burned down tavern clues "starter quest" in dustwallow as you enter the zone, and one of the later quests in northern barrens to discover a lost caravan <??> , cancels out some earlier quests in the crossroads.


it's the 7th toon i've used kick's 1-90 guide on, so i don't mind the teething issues on questing. haven't levelled/quested past 75 & grizzly hills, i just don't play enough

That happened to me but I read somewhere that every time you switch characters, you have to restart HB. Worked for me so hopefully it will work for you.

thou sometimes the alts get stuck, hb restart mostly fixxes that, if not i finish the active quest by hand, then let the bot take over aggain, works always.

Used kick?s questing profile to get my horde warrior up to level 90 - worked as intended, with allmost no probs

BGBuddy doesn't run off of Kick's profiles. At least, that I know of. And, on my server, horde always wins. So, it can't be Kick that determines what side wins and loses.

both factions are great, ive leveled 4 80-90 with kicks on horde, and 3 80-90 alliance. only problems are mesh issues


1-80 no idea
