which class to use for botting

I am going to switch from plant farming to mob farming, however i have no clue about which class to pick. So which class +skill trees is the best for botting?

I tend to go plated classes for questers that end up being farmers, Darkrunner is where I tend to go. Stone Arrow works as well, as does Demonologist, but both of these required slight babying.
 
Ok, i narrowed it down. I want a melee class for single mobs no aoe crap. On my list are now.

abolisher
darkrunner

Does anybody else have a class which i should look into.
 
Arcanist with a 1h katana and a shield for phy deff = stabile kill rate with high HP and mana reg -> short time to reg up to 100% HP and MP
 
I run an arcanist with a dedicated healer/mana pumper. Arcanist are strong single target hitters and also if you get caught with many mobs you can set your plugin to do aoe attacks like banshee wail into freezing earth into searing rain.

Also with a dedicated healer you never run out of mana and the witchcraft passives helps aswell. You also dont look like your really botting, but granted it is much slower than having 2 dps characters. But I'd rather be safe than sorry~

Do you use plate or cloth armor because i keep reading that people use plate on arcanist for pve. Also, which katana do you use? And how much did it cost you to gear the bot?

Depends if you want to spend more for plate, because you need to get crafted lake plate gear. Or you could just get auroria cloth gear which is substantially cheaper and with a shield it should be enough. The Katana Taranira is talking about is the Obsidian Katana, as it has magic attack. They aren't very expensive considering you can make the money back in one session of grinding.
 
have another question why not a obsidian scepter instead of a obsidian katana?

Because with a 2h scepter you can't wear a shield for a higher phy deff
But with 1h katana you can wear a shield too.
 
ok then my original question still remains to be answered. Why not a scepter instead of a katana, since scepters do more damage. Is the only reason that you could use the katana as a melee weapon or is there another reason?
 
Your question has been answered by WoodenJester. I suggest you get one of each and try them out for yourself. As we have given you all the answers you need and its now upto you to decide on your own.

We can't spoon feed you what you need to do as it comes down to your own personal preference.

Sorry man, if it looked that i wanted to be spoon feed that isnt the case. Again I would like to thank you all for your advice and i will be definantly going for the arcanist class.
