I have full sets of HotA (only 1 or 2 pieces not Ancient) and Wastes (all pieces are ancient), but I can't seem to run past GR50 on them. Either I die too much or I don't do enough dmg. Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong? Any thoughts on what is easiest to get GR60 for achiev?

* means ancient:

I'll post my WW set if you feel like it's necessary, but I have the 2 Ancient weapons and pretty much everything needed unlocked on the cube.

And you should really use Ruby+Leorics when doing GR runs

Not sure if I was unclear, but I just wanted to get to GR60 while botting. Leorics + Ruby is not going to get me there. On top of that, it means I have to drop Restraint + Focus which loses me 100% dmg or drop Unity, which is going to get me killed.

Hmm maybe wrong setup of your skills? Im also running HOTA Barb with Grift 52 doing 35 billion exp/h. Using Leorics Crown + Ruby in helm.
I wouldnt use Taeguk, try using bane of the stricken

60? I think with the bot u cant make a lvl 60 grift!!!

My skills are:
Furious Charge - Dreadnought (2 charges) - to apply Focus/Restraint
HotA - Smash
War Cry - Veteran's Warning
Battle Rage - Bloodshed
WotB - Insanity (100% uptime right now)
CotA - Together as one (50% dmg decrease)

The reason I quit using Bane of the Stricken is that I don't get permanent dps increase on adds and I still get 15% on bosses (35% instead of 25%). Was that a bad call?

Atleast you can run easily 60+ grifts with WD, I have only ancient mojo/shoulders/boots/legs/ammy and doing 60 grift with bot, not wearing unity. No clue about HOTA barb tho.

Im using a ww/rend setup atm, it does gr55 all day long no problems afk with 7-8 mins remaining usually(depends if i get alot of arcance enchanted elites or not because the bot just likes to bathe itself in the beams), with assisting it using lazy raider feature i was able to do gr60. Once they add better avoidance and lamenation detection to double rend, the spec will do very well. Let me know if you want me to share my setup.

Yes, please because I already have most, if not all of the gear to get that working.

2pc wastes 6 pc ik(must use boulder ofc), whatever combo you have best for, strongarms, focus restraint, priority phys dmg/crit/crit dmg/rend% , all res gems, %hp helm gem. stricken/taeguk/pain enhancer. as much all resist as you can get without losing dmg. skills charge - merciless / rend - bloodbath / whirlwind - blood funnel/ war cry - veterans / cota - together as one/ wotb - insanity. cube is furnace/ lamenation/ unity.passives ruthless/boon/brawler/rampage follower templar with unity/wyrmward/thunderfury/ess of johan/freeze of deflection/freeze of deflection/enchanting favor relic w/ heal/loyalty/charge/inspire.

I have been editing settings to try to bypass the bot not recognizing lamenation to get it to rend more, note sure if its working, i think theres a internal timer that would require editing th .cs file. I need to test with yans in cube and see if it finishes faster or not. But this is what I am using for 55. I could do higher but I like to make sure it will not fail.

Just tested with yans just as fast. So i guess you could use whichever armor you want. Possibly leorics with red gem for xp if you can survive

Thanks! Will try it tonight and let you know.

I haven't tried this, but you should be able to go into the Plugins/Trinity/Settings/Combat/BarbarianSettings.cs and change
Code:
[DataMember(IsRequired = false)]
        [DefaultValue(3500)]
        public int RendWaitDelay
        {
            get
            {
                return _rendWaitDelay;
            }
            set
            {
                if (_rendWaitDelay != value)
                {
                    _rendWaitDelay = value;
                    OnPropertyChanged("RendWaitDelay");
                }
            }
        }

to the DefaultValue being less than 3500ms

Edit: Another thing you can try to edit in the cs files is in Plugins/Trinity/Combat/Abilities/BarbarianCombat.cs:

Change:
Code:
private static bool _allowSprintOoc = true;
private const float MaxFuriousChargeDistance = 300f;

to this which will give you something to check against to see if rend should go off a 2nd time.

Code:
private static bool _allowSprintOoc = true;
private const float MaxFuriousChargeDistance = 300f;
private static bool _hasCastRendTwice = false;

Then change

Code:
 public static bool CanUseRend
        {
            get
            {
                if (UseOOCBuff || IsCurrentlyAvoiding || Player.IsIncapacitated || !CanCast(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend))
                    return false;

                if (!CanCast(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend))
                    return false;

                bool hasReserveEnergy = (!IsWaitingForSpecial && Player.PrimaryResource >= 20) || (IsWaitingForSpecial && Player.PrimaryResource > MinEnergyReserve);

                var mobCountThreshold = Trinity.ObjectCache.Count(o => o.IsUnit && (!o.HasDotDPS) && o.RadiusDistance <= 12) >= 3 || CurrentTarget.IsEliteRareUnique;
                if (!mobCountThreshold)
                    return false;

                // Spam with Bloodlust
                if (Runes.Barbarian.BloodLust.IsActive && Player.CurrentHealthPct <= .25)
                    return true;

                return Skills.Barbarian.Rend.TimeSinceUse > Settings.Combat.Barbarian.RendWaitDelay && hasReserveEnergy;
            }
        }

to this which should cast rend a 2nd time if TimeSinceUse is less than the rend wait delay and has energy and can cast twice and can cast rend at all. It will then check to see if the wait time is > than the 3500ms and set the variable back to false which will in essence reset it after 3500ms. So then every 3.5 seconds it should cast it twice. UNTESTED CODE, but syntactically, it looks correct.

Code:
   public static bool CanUseRend
        {
            get
            {
                if (UseOOCBuff || IsCurrentlyAvoiding || Player.IsIncapacitated || !CanCast(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend))
                    return false;

                if (!CanCast(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend))
                    return false;

                bool hasReserveEnergy = (!IsWaitingForSpecial && Player.PrimaryResource >= 20) || (IsWaitingForSpecial && Player.PrimaryResource > MinEnergyReserve);

                var mobCountThreshold = Trinity.ObjectCache.Count(o => o.IsUnit && (!o.HasDotDPS) && o.RadiusDistance <= 12) >= 3 || CurrentTarget.IsEliteRareUnique;
                if (!mobCountThreshold)
                    return false;

                // Spam with Bloodlust
                if (Runes.Barbarian.BloodLust.IsActive && Player.CurrentHealthPct <= .25)
                    return true;

                // Use twice with Lamentation
                if (Skills.Barbarian.Rend.TimeSinceUse < Settings.Combat.Barbarian.RendWaitDelay && hasReserveEnergy && _hasCastRendTwice == false && CanCast(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend))
                {
                    _hasCastRendTwice = true;
                    return true;
                }

                // Set it back to False so we will double Rend again.
                if (Skills.Barbarian.Rend.TimeSinceUse > Settings.Combat.Barbarian.RendWaitDelay)
                {
                    _hasCastRendTwice = false;
                }

                return Skills.Barbarian.Rend.TimeSinceUse > Settings.Combat.Barbarian.RendWaitDelay && hasReserveEnergy;
            }
        }
