where oh where is my dungeonbuddy?

Well The 1 - 85 will be the beta because it needs to fully support most of everything otherwise it is literally just an instancebuddy. We are still adding a lot of core features to the bot so its not just about scripts. The scripts just allow us to continue working on the main features before it can be released. We are getting much closer to a beta release but we are still working on it, we are still currently making 100+ changes a day we wont release anything until that has significantly died down to be much more stable.

Things like tanking were literally just added a few days ago that still are being worked on. It is an vital piece to the structure of the entire dungeonbuddy so its is not just about scripts.
 
Can you use LazyRaider CC's or do you have to use Singular with movement and targeting?
 
Seems like we are going to need alot more... Advanced CC's if we want to look human. And something for tanks that will some how understand what the group is saying (IE "Lets go left" "Lets go right") type stuff. Idk seems really risky if your a tank. But will be cool as a healer.

I hope there is a special Thread/Section for it for bug reports.

I will push out 2 5man bot groups from lvl 15-X. how far the bot will take them. :D

And I'm hoping for Raid support, to have 10 bots raiding DS would be freakin hilarious!
 
How will meshes be for this?
What I'm fearing is that if there's more bots, they will use the same paths when moving and that's gonna be hard to explain as theres less people in a dungeon than in a bg
 
But with the right CC they will make more DPS then most of the players now do! ;)

At first the only thing will be all the meshes at least working for dungeons as we have no control over the meshing, that is Main and Raphus. All we can do is make tickets about what specific things need to be fixed. Hopefully all dungeons will at least be afkable as healer/dps on the first release.

That will eventually be possible and im hoping to make it a reality but definitively not on the first release. Will be a gradual thing as raids are last, looking to support all panda dungeons and raid eventually also.
 
so seems you will not tell us any ETA for dungeonbuddy :P
 
Maybe we could contribute by not asking same questions over and over again and let him work on it :)

Every dungeon will be open source scripting, there will be a lot of tools in place to do it and a lot of pre-done functions to help out. The community will have every oppertunity to script them if they would like after its been released until we can work on them officially. Just because we wont have them done does not mean they wont be done.

Oh jesus christ, must of missed that the first read... This is retarded, what is event he point then, might as well hold the release for the next 5 months while you develop logic for heroics...

Wow... very disappointing... I honestly don't know what to say...

However I hope that the new dev rules did not run off the people that would ordinarily do things like this. Grinding heroics for rep/valor so near the end of this expansion is becoming more and more pointless as the weeks go on. While it will still be used for leveling, I personally think that the rep/valor grind is where DB would have excelled. DB is becoming more and more obsolete as the days tick bye unfortunately.

Yep, only reason I want DB is for rep grinding on alts that I never had time for.

[rant] You're getting extra functionality without paying ANYTHING extra. They are spending development time on a product they are potentially making ZERO profit from. I would hope they get more license sales after releasing such an addition, so we'll see. If the dev team wasn't split up between 4 games (WoW, SWtoR, D3, WoT) at the same time, I'm sure DB would've been out a long time ago. Be patient, there is PLENTY else to do in the game right now. [/rant]

No worries on the ETA, Natfoth. Your high-quality product will come when it's ready. Keep up the good work. ;)
