Where have all the herbs gone?

Yes, I am us, on one of the highest pop'd servers which makes me boned. Sucks because I was so close to saving up enough gold to buy the mounts I could never afford (90% of the reason I started this in the first place was to buy in game toys).
 
holy shit 100 nodes in 2 hours.. im starting on tich too.. /facepalm
 
EU High pop server, in last 2 hours prices reached 100g per stack for herbs/ores ... so i just got more that 3k herb stacks like 5-6 hours ago for 30g per stack spaming in trade. You still can try that.
 
Well, I just bought out all the herbs from my AH, also bought some cheap darkmoon cards. I hope this is intentional, not a bug :P

respawn time seems as good as normal to me. Is somebody pranking here? it ain't funny cus i just bought all i could find on ah x)
 
well this is really weird:
apparently herbs are selling for less than yesterday on my server... even lower than shoulder enchants are worth....
I'm pretty much buying all herbs I can find today but am real scared about the ones I bought for more than 24g (making no profit with shoulder enchants)
because if the price wouldnt go up again id be fckd :D

still dont get why the prices are dropping on a high pop server EU
 
Just got 213 nodes in 2 hours, seems ok to me... US server (high pop)
 
herbs are definitely nerfed, while ghost iron seems to remain entirely normal. Part of my multi zone profile included kota peak in Kun'lai, which used to yield 4-5 stacks of snow lily per rotation, now yielded only 1 stack.

Granted, it's a small sample size, but I can definitely verify that spawn rates have been nerfed.

I will say that I won't miss running PB to mill/create/sell 30k worth of shoulder enchants every day, but I will miss the gold. Unsure what the next stage is, probably just going back to ahing the raw stacks of herbs because the prices will jump like crazy at this point.

not to sound like a dick or nothing, but we already know gathering across the board got nerfed pretty hard. At this point, it is trying to see which currently made profile still can fast gather while our awesome profile devs work on new ones. Currently testing a dread waste mining profile and although this is still not as fast as it was pre 5.1 this is by far my fastest after trying 2 other profiles same zone.

Yeah this is total shit, I mean they didn't INCREASE the amount of gems/pigments you get from milling and prospecting. Also, now you can forget about doing the vendor thing with herbs, because there aren't enough to make a fucking salad.

I do not use public profiles, I have been running my own custom profile since shortly after MoP launch, I suggest creating your own as well. Using a public profile will only yield less nodes per hour due to the fact of the amount of bots running that same route. This is especially true at this moment, now that the amount of resources has been cut by approximately 42% according to my results. Yielded 240 nodes per hour in the past, now I'm down to 140.

seems to be fixed now, maybe a little bit lower than normal but atleast they are respawning!
