Where did Vicious gladiator plugin go!

if someone has an updated version for this plugin that was up earlier today can you either pm it to me of point me in the direction of the post cause i cant seem to find it for the life of me thanks
 
me neither i saw it in the pvp threat earlier today and came back to download it and its not there :S Can someone who has it please link it here?
 
the whole thread dissapeared for me yesterday evening :S dunno whree it went
 
Possibility that the author of the plugin dis-continued his work and got a mod to remove the thread.

The thread was closed and the plugin is being kept private, as per my request.
The fact is, that the Honorbuddy forum seems to be way too greedy, without showing much appreciation (and that is not only for Vicious Gladiator/Bloodthirsty gladiator, that is a general problem).
The only advise i can give you is, to start showing bigger appreciation for the writers, no matter if it is a botbase, a plugin or a profile. Alot of people put alot of their time into it!

I think that if people realise your project has been removed, and beg you to bring it back does show appreciation. I think you should be more specific with what kind of appreciation you want? Donations?

Altho i do agree with you that alot of people are greedy here.

You need to understand that this aint a free bot that is updated/made better buy the comunite. People have to PAY for it, it's not an open-source project like open-bot was.

And as such thats how people use the forums, they pay for a programme and get extras on the forums (Yes i know people shouldn't look at it like this, im just saying how it is)

Seems like a lot of plugin/botbase/CC/profile writers have hissy fits when people ask for extra stuff. Nothing wrong with asking. If you don't like it then make things for yourself only. Releasing something and then pulling it is pretty pathetic. Atleast give other people to take over the project if your not willing

Would also like to add it shouldn't be upto CUSTOMERS of the bot to give people insentive to make stuff, this should be an job of the HB staff, after all withought plugins/bots/profiles the bot is pretty pointless, people bot because they DON'T want to be sat at the computer all day

i get wheres hes coming from, but its not like hes asking for $20 a donation, even $1 shows a lot. most people spend money every day sometimes on stuff they dont really need, instead of buying that one cup of coffee just take the time and donate so that way your favrate dev can have his cup of coffee that day. as for him removing his code, he can do what he wants. its his code.

No one ever said anything about a plugin/botbase/profile etc. having to be paid for, appreciation is much more than that.
Personally i like getting "likes", as that cheers me up. Rep is allways good, and the easiest of them all: a plain "thank you".
Donations isn't allways needed to say that it is some great work.
What people don't realise as plugins/profiles/CC's/botbases are released are, that a hell lot of work is behind it all, no one just sits down write a profile, and it works perfectly.
As for the project, then it hasn't stopped. I'm currently updating it, adding features, debugging it etc. but for now i'm keeping it private.

I know myself how long it takes to make stuff like this (The one reason i don't)

And im sure if i would have used your plugin i would have thanked/liked your post.

Im not saying people shouldn't be thanked/donated too, im just trying to explain why some may not.

Because after they have payed for something (Honorbuddy + maybe the flight key too) they look at things on the forum as "part of the bot" (And maybe even there purchase) I would imagine some people would even think none HB devs get payed in some way for improving the bot.

I guess my first post didn't explain what i ment very well. I blame lack of sleep

While I understand that there is a small minority of ungrateful whiners. I don't think it's a good idea to let a couple of bad applies spoil it for the rest of us.

If people whine and QQ ban them from the thread.

Sad to see your work going private. I enjoyed using it while I could.

on that note, if people are being jerks, just report the post, in the reason just write something like "Im the OP, Please remove this post" and we will do it, as a forum mod i cant look at every single post and decide for everyone if it bugs them or not. there are some threads while im awake i do monitor, but i cant be everywhere at once.

And this is the reason why he chose to make it private. Members don't show any respect to the plug-in developers. If you believe it is so easy to code a perfectly working plug-in, please do so, and then upload it to the forums. I'm sure you'll see how much time truly goes into coding a plug-in, and that when people like you show disrespect, it makes them wonder why they even released it, when they could of made it even simpler in terms of coding (by removing things such as other faction vendors).
 
thread closed, its his project, he made his post for the reason why its not around, nothing else needs to be said.
