When is the best time to start a 2nd character?

I've been multiboxing with 4 demon hunters for the loot sharing.

At what GR level/Paragon should I start switching them to different classes?

Depends. What is your goal?

Push for any ranks on the super geared Character? If not just do literally whatever you want.

Its pretty straight forward. You either just want geared chars or you want to actually try to rank. If you want to rank TBH you should farm on the best exp farmers / highest GR for gems to cube on gear first then gear later.

I don't really have a goal. I kinda started the season late. I just want to complete all levels of the season journey and maybe hit like GR 70 with 2 or 3 classes.

Whenever you feel one character is geared up decently, maybe get one character to gr 70 before moving onto the next char.

I would get second characters going now if you want to use them this season. Once you stored around 5000+ deaths breath it should be easy to roll a new class on the account and get basic gear in all slots. a day or two later you will be enchanting ancient items.

This season I am trying to keep each bot to one class, rolling new characters and leveling to 70 so that I can have fully geared and skilled characters when I swap from bounties/TX Rifts/GRifts and of course some LoN test builds.

Try running a Wizard (some of the best DPS in game) and a LoN Bombardment crusader (easy botting, lots of EHP). Guides for botting both are available on forums.

Monks can be good for support builds and can use DEX gear that you likely already have other than Inna's set which is quickly gained through re-forging. Other than that, they are one of the weakest classes this patch.
