What's the deal with the Wand of Woh and Starmetal Kukri?

I almost feel like they removed trading to prevent all of the "Pay to Win" complaints [moreso than to prevent botting or anything else]...

At the same time they made it so certain accounts drop certain items with higher frequency... Coupled with the idea of the two hour trade window and clan chat...

It's as if they are forcing you to play with people due to what they can trade vs. group synergy or RL friends. Either that, or you must play multiple accounts on a multibox and trade with yourself.

So many threads on every D3 forum it's ridiculous, including the infamous reverse engineered or datamined information about loot tables here:

I've been botting Ghom 24/7 from like P220 and I'm getting close to P500. Had my first TMF drop in a random rift I did while I was bored. Then I had 3-5 more drop over the next few days. Found ~5? TF, 2 SoH, one of which was -lvl 30 req. Gotten 3? Jerams and a fucking billion ones that belong to the Helltooth set, a couple of SoJ and one Unity. A near perfect Vaxo and a beautiful fire Rondals. However, I still haven't found a single fucking Tasker's or SMK, let alone Zuni's Boots. I did manage to get a shitload of Gidbinn and Magefists / Gladiators that were auto trashed, as well as an awful Frostburn that got insta salvaged.

heheh... Your thing must be not so sweet. RNG doesn't like it :p I found SMK but not good Furnace. I salvaged good one long time ago because I didn't know about it. Now it is not dropping.

I found a 2700 DPS Str/Vit one that I kept because I thought the proc was interesting. I'm glad I did now. :)

this thread is like a penis meter of NO LUCK! so here are my TWO CENTS:

1500+ hours of botting ...no WOW...and Kukri droped for my Wizard...bu-dum-tss

After >1000 hours of playing and not seeing WH I decided to gear my barb for a bit. Second legendary drop was a WH. Sadly it rolled horribly. ~25 cd, 95 resistance, 6% attackspeed and 10% damage to weapon throw XD best belt.
 
you can call it tin foil hats or rng , but if all you do is run ghom .. you cant blame RNG , blame the warden .. he knows your doing it .. lol

I got one from ghom just a couple of days ago,and then I got one from Kadala,both had no vit and no int roll,which means I'm stuck with no Vit roll,that means will keep looking....
 
Took me until after 641 (all on WD) for SMK. Unbelievable how rare some of these things are.

i actually found 3 tall mans fingers over a 8 hour chest run, and one was a trifecta. Lucky night normally dont find crap just bs to salvage i have fould 1 kurki and 2 maras, 6ias/50chd 498 witching hour prob the 3 rares things, and 10+ on TF, Cindercoat and SOH

Tall Man's finger is pretty common,I found a lot of them,at least 15,One was a trifecta ofc.

Did you find it with your Crusader?

Did you find Furnace with Chest run as well? I am looking for awesome Furnace, Darklight or Fate of Fell for now

most everything i find comes from chest runs, i have found so many furnaces its rediculous, i started putting them on all my enchantresses lol, got 3 nice ones 8% 2700+. Generally i find the items on the classes that can use them but there is that rare occasion that they drop something wierd. found a 2875 dps fate of fell and a 60% darklight 2275 dps gotten lucky i cant seem to find the crusader set helm on sc it is driving me nuts. and have never found wand of woe yet. Found the smk on the WD tho

Ghom drops a lot of Akahn set items except boots. It droped all other set items x 4 -5 but only 2x boots. SMK dropped for my Crusader in Ghom. That was awesome. It supposed to drop to only WD but nothing is written in stone haha
I guess I should run chest to get Furnace. Only reason I don't run chest is no XP :-(
