I know what I said in my first paragraph was not anything complicated, but I hadn't read in this thread where any of it was mentioned. Furthermore, I wasn't trying to imply that coding this would be an easy or simple task. I just know from my experience of watching bots evolve that it is certainly possible.

After I had a few minutes to think about the spreadsheet more, I came to the conclusion that with the changes coming in the upcoming patch, with coop play and potential change in regard to how rares drop, that it would likely be advantageous to start after the patch. Furthermore, one of the first things that I would do would be to outline the assumptions made, ie which variable are most fit to be ignored. I mean, I already do this for myself, and after the initial work is done, I do not think that it would be very much work other than data entry.
 
I messaged you a couple days ago rrrix. Personally I would like to see 2 things in trinity in the near future :)

First would be the ability to just check one little box (not sure if its even possible) to keep all your legs UNID. I know this is supposedly possible outside of trinity but id love to be able to have it as an option inside trinity.

The next thing I would like to see is a better break down of the items themselves. Theres levels set for armors/weapons/jewelry/legs and that's it. However many of those things aren't ever used. Things like rare helms rare pants rare armors. The legs + sets are just so much better.

I would like to be able to turn off certain things but not others. For example I cant turn off armor now because I like picking up bracers and gloves and shoulders.

Im very very confused when it comes to loot rules so I really cant edit/make my own so I would like the ability to do more in trinity.

Either way, thanks for all your hardwork it is appreciated.
 
support for DH strafe-demolition and chakram-shuriken cloud please. when i try to use it with db the bot tends to spam chakram away from the monsters.
 
2. Multi-bot party botting - would be a great addition, i believe it should be worked on to make it possible in future.

This i think is the best idea for while in this topic... Also with better insue about crashs etc...
 
it would be cool to see runs for keys and stuff like that.
since you are so reliable in making this stuff.

With the general shift in botting to act 1, I was wondering if adding the ability to avoid the charges done by Savage Beasts in Fields of Misery could be added easily? Non elite mobs are fine but if i encounter an elite pack of these bad boys i generally end up with a repair bill due to 3/4 of them hitting at a similar time with their charge.
 
For those that voted for "Better Item Rules", have you tried Gniller's rules? I guess, I should have specified at what i meant by "better" :) For me, it's always good to have a mostly empty stash, with just a few awesome items from a few days of botting.

I do use Gniller's yes, but I think what is missing in going from item rules 2 "hard" to Gnillers is there is too big of a gap. It seems like since I have changed, I no longer get items that I can sell on GMAH and ONLY items on RMAH. I would still like to pick up items that are worth 10-20+ mil to sell on GMAH. I believe Gnillers is PERFECT if you only want items for RMAH, but to maximize any sort of profit left in this game, I would like to sell on GMAH also.

And maybe that is why so many people want more item rule optimization as do I.
 
You have to fix trinity to make barbs WW to loot. Constantly dying on any decent MP because they try to loot something and are surrounded by mobs. Core problem

get better gear (or use rend). ive never seen this happen to any of my barbs on mp10.

Are you retarded? It doesn't ATTACK mobs because it tries to loot a legendary what the fuck does gear or spells have to do with it? It only tries to loot. I have insane gear and I'm doing mp10 please read before responding.

so let me get this straight... while your bot is trying to loot something.. before trinity realises its body blocked and forces a new target.. WITH rend ticking on everything around you, there are just too many mobs hitting you that you die? sounds like a gear problem to me :)

ive been watching my bots a LOT over the past few days, trying to get a 4 barb party running flawlessly and in all these hours ive literally never seen this problem once. trinity automatically forces a new target if youre body blocked for too long, so the only time i could actually see this happening is if for some reason you dont have anything rended and your gear is so bad that you die in less than 2 seconds without attacking anything.

threatening shout has to meet at least 1 of these 3 conditions to cast: (<= 75% hp) or (have whirlwind and <= 10 fury) or (waiting to use a special move and fury <= min reserve fury). the <=75% is why it can be rarely ever used.
