What to do with blue gems?

Hello,

I often read that I should not throw to much saronite in the auction house. This sound quite logical.

But what to do with the ore.. when i Prospect it. I get a lot of gems.

Greens:
Huge Citrine, Sun Crystal, Bloodstone and Chalcedony - made to rings and vendored for 3,14 each. (since 3.3 last it's not worth to disenchant them)

Shadow Crystal and Dark Jade would be direct vendored for 25s each.


So I did a little calculation:
10 Stacks Saronite ore give: (values from thottbot)

8 Shadow Crystal
7 Huge Citrine
7 Sun Crystal
7 Bloodstone
7 Dark Jade
7 Chalcedony.

If i have to buy Eternal Earth because i have not enough - i would need 5,7 stacks for the crafted items. 7,68g each (on my server)

This would mean:
92,58gold from vendoring (Rings, Necklace, Amulet, and Dark Jade/Shadow Crystal)
43,49 for Eternal Earth

- 49,08gold Profit

AND

the Blue gems:

What to do with all the blue gems? Cut versions doesn't sell very good - and i will flood the market with all my blue gems. What do you do with your blue gems?

blue gems? scarlet rubys i sell on AH for stupid prices (1k+/stack)

the rest i mail to a buddy of mine for vendor prices and he jc's them and has alchs xmute them

As Kick said, it would be a good idea to transmute them

Cut and vendor the gems that don't generally sell well or if you've got an immense stockpile.
