What to do with all this Saronite

What are you guys doing with Saronite Ore? Sale price on my server is only between 12-13g and 26g for bars. I have a 450 JC'er that I could potentially work with.

Is the "Saronite Shuffle" really worthwhile prospecting all the ore and making the rings and necklaces?
 
im lazy, i sell it for 12g stacks, and sell 5 banktabs at a time.
 
As my server is low populated at times it goes for 15-25 G a stack and can be hard to sell alot at once

I just found a private buyer that bought all my bank of me for 12 G a stack, which is the best way in my opinion for anything so you don't get economy flagged by the AH.
 
with 26g for a stack of bars on your server, i would say it's best to just smelt all the ore and vendor the bars. 25g per stack of saronite bars to the vendor, and you get money instantly, don't have to worry about AH cut of stock price, nor the fact that the bars might not sell.

Wow, never realized how much the bars vendored for. I think I will certainly vendor a bunch off so that I do not flood the auction house. Quick set it and forget it money without setting off too many flags. Thank you for the tip.

Be careful if you use this method. Selling to many bars to vendor will get you banned or suspended for abuse of the economy.

lol... I sell probably vendored 25+ stacks a day on my account. Not happened yet. Doing it for a loooooong time.
 
I can say I vendor at least 25, that's a minimum. more like 30-40, every day, for months, no ban.

some of it I transmute to titanium bars - and then titansteel bars, they sell well.

Agreed horsecrap!

I sold over 8000G in 1 day and another 10K in ore another day... So um... NO. Doesn't happen. Thanks.
 
I think I might resort to vendoring after 20 stacks on the AH. The Saronite Shuffle works out to be "OK", but not having a enchanter makes it a little less profitable. I'm grinding up a Paladin with hopes of making it a 'chanter so I might revisit then. Thank you all for the pointers.

On a serious note, smelt 80% of the bars, sell the half of the produced bars to the vendor and AH the rest along with the ores that's left.

But for this to work, you have to sell it on daily basis =)
Other than that...get a private client for the saronite ores.

The method involves converting green gems – Chalcedony, Sun crystal, Bloodstone and Huge Crystal into rings and amulets then selling them to the vendor for profit!
This has to be one of my favorite ways to make gold in WoW.
1. High Gold an Hour? – Check
2. Can be totally AFK while doing it? – Check
3. No much work involved? – Check
4. Get your profit instantly? – Check
I was astonished to see that with my servers current prices on Eternal Earth/Crystallized Earth and the different green gems that I could make 1,114 gold an hour by just buying up the materials, parking my DK at a vendor and set him to automatically craft everything while I write this post and watch a movie

so either sell the greens or disenchant, of course takes some time
 
Well my server I sell saronite bars like crazy at between 50g -75g a stack, and they always sell quickly. I dont sell the ore, as that hardly sells at all. It's the other ore that is tougher, fel iron sells for a lot, but doesnt sell as fast. I found that bars work best, except for titanium ore. Plus smelting it takes up half as much space.
 
even if there's a trigger which flags people wo are selling a lot. Than there would all the honorbuddys be banned, then the normal levelers, than the farmers and the raiders and at last the guys who sell 30 items a day.. lol.. 2 bags full a day...
 
yeah i have the same problem on my server i just save it all then when i get a good amount i just vendor it all. I did think of getting an alchemist to change them into titanium.
