angry little kid, lol

You get profits from ruining the game. That's not illegal but don't act like you're entitled to that money.

Get educated and a job that pays enough so that you don't go crazy losing this source of income.

go away with your casual botting :p I myself did it just for a hobby and am dissapointed

It will still be there in some form or another.... The easy days just seem to be numbered.

There's also no way to tell what the new platform will be ... despite everything I ponder in my head being just intentionally dumb'd down shitbox versions of an AH I still have hope. I hope they keep at least some way inside the game to accept / receive usd/eu w/o worrying about paypal scams. Thats really my biggest concern . Even without that $ will still be there... it will just be worse.

My biggest fear now is everything of value being BoA or so easy to obtain its worthless. This seems to be the path they are going down ... You wont need an AH because you can get it yourself if you play 20 hours, and you wont need to trade because its all bound! yay!.

At the moment my highest hope is they come out with a new platform that keeps the safety of the old AH's but loses efficiency in some way (less slots, or max usage, or something) or a trading post or personalized profile shops, etc. I also have hopes that there will be a HUGE emphasis on crafting / enchanting and it will have high gold/material costs which will make gold / material very valuable. At the very least this would provide a path to make money selling said gold/mats to 3rd party sites or running your own site, or spamming wts in forums.

I'm usually pretty damn optimistic but I never seen this coming ... i'll admit. Hopefully as we get closer to blizzcon we get some cool news and not more garbage. I dont think anyone on the planet wants to go back to WUW WUG d2 trading days ... so im curious to see how they will handle it.

p.s. If ladders release with RoS, then i hope to god they wait till march to announce it ... otherwise it really will be d3 Armageddon.

And here I thought I was going to make tons of money once they implemented ladder and resets... lol :(

It's pretty simple actually, you either make money with tradeable items (which aren't BoA), or you make no money at all. I think they kinda screwed themselves when they tried to combat gold selling sites with this free market bullshit.

I think they wont elliminate item hunt completely, they have clearly said that legendaries will drop in lesser number, but will be far often usefull for players than right now. However i wouldnt count that they retain any form of buying stuff for real cash. I believe that core reason behind their actions was disappointing financial results of rmah, so they closed it down and used this in their propaganda. Gah was closed along to increase effect of their message, simply because it generated no profits for blizzard, but generated many issues.

Profit on Rmah during last 6 months was too low for bliz and GAH failed it's main purpose, to kill some gold badly.

I think the main reason rmah is shutting down is coz of the ladder resets...

looks to me like they are just making it profitable for them and taking the profit away from botters, now they will get a true value of there player base, cause there will be no point in botting to make money. i for one just bot my paragon lvls cause its so boring so i think its funny, good for blizzard finally doing somthing based on diablo players, if they wanted ppl selling gold they would just open there own gold store and sell it like all there other in game shit you can buy, be happy that you made what you did. And everything worth alot will definetly be BOA so gold will be used for repairs and crafting.

Talk about overreacting. Sure its inconvienient, but as long as they live up to the hype this game will be profitable for botters...it might even turn out to be a good thing, iteminflation will be less, big ass farms will have a harder time, people might actually stick to the game etc

Most of the items will be SOUL BOUND, therefor there will be many items that cant get traded.

Aka, you need to find the epic gear yourself.

This is a good change for the gameplay. The d3 we have now, sucks.. I would really like to play the game, but there is no fun in it.

But yes, some of the items can be bought on sites, but only few items. (I hope, if not, then blizzard is dumb)

as far as im informed items will be soulbound through transmorg and rerolling... now thats a good thing because it takes them out of the itempool. if theres any other kind of official info please enlighten me...

and even then as long as enough peeps will be playing there will be ways to make a decent income..

they also mentioned those really nice legendarys would be boa as well to make it worth it for ppl to actually play the game for themselves, its pretty obvious that these changes are being made to decrease the amount of ppl who bot for money and get more ppl actually playing the game, which im all for. they could add a few things from d2 to d3 and make this game real fun to play.

They never said anything about BoA droppable items. They said items will be BoA after using the mustic on them...

Lol at the angry kids in here. They improve the game and all you can think of is your personal profits. Get a dayjob, the game doesnt revolve around you getting cash, so suck it. Its a good choice and its final.

Says someone, who judging by his inability to comprehend sarcasm, is a kid himself living off his parents.

Its a good choice and its final.

AH removal in response to problems which it caused, is as good as extermination of unemployed ppl to fight unemployment, or blowing up Earth to fight environmental pollution.
