I know that gathering, PvPing, mining are not safe and have a high risk. What else is risky to use? (I just started using honorbuddy)

Asking the same question that has been asked at least 10 times already. Since you are new, try searching abit first. You will learn alot from older threads and you might avoid bans.

Basically the botbases that uses the same path over and over again, and/or requires you to interact with or near other players, are the high risk ones.

I know youre new and all, but you will come a long way with common sense my friend.

So ive used honorbuddy probably going on 3 years now. i herb / mine use honorbuddy, dungeonbuddy, tyeral and just about everyother option honorbuddy has. (ive leveled 8 chars of my own to 90 100% afk then geared them 100% afk)..your botting everything is risky duh? its called botting intelligently dont bot everyday for 10 hours, dont load 600 stacks of ore on the AH everyday..dont add people that dont need to know u bot to real idea so they can see your on 10 hours a day and you ignore them 90% of the time when they whisper you.

I have had 0 problems with honorbuddy and its not like im not making gold. both my guild banks have over 1m gold in them 1 horde 1 alliance and like ive said ive done it for about 3 years now and as state 0 problems 0 bans all my original chars. even added a few accounts up to 3 now that pay for themselves.

A used condom isn't safe.

also you could look around older posts or at the ban section for your information =)

So what you're saying is Blizz can only "suspect" botting based on observation and/or activity? And that honorbuddy is undetectable by Blizzard? Yes or No answer please.

I've been using it carefully since september with no ban. But I branched out into PS3 hacking (custom firmware) and I was also careful with that similar to how I am with honorbuddy. However I was banned from playstation network within 2 weeks. So of course questions come up in my mind about the security of honorbuddy. Sony clearly can detect hacking of their systems. But Blizzard can't?

Blizzard can't legaly detect honorbuddy automaticly. In that way HB is 100% safe.
If you run the same profile 24/7, if you bot stupied and players detect you, then yes, you will get banned.
If you're running alot of bots on the same system then you're going to be raising flags to get your chars monitored.
And once someone is monitoring you then a botting char is quite easy to detect.

AknA, yes blizzard can detect HB, I just got the proof 2 day ago...

I was botting a char to ban it,(long historiy)....then a ticket has been opened by the real owner...then the GM chat with me Hi(before I anwswer i got banned)...it seems that He check the account and see I was botting, i just botted 1 hour of jade forest mining, it was an account that I bought from some guy...never botted this account.

They cannot detect Honorbuddy. There are systems in place that prevent them from physically being able to see if you are running Honorbuddy, not to mention any means to do this is illegal.

GM's are able to monitor what you're doing. The account owner probably reported something awry on "his" account, so the GM investigated and saw someone from a foreign location botting on the account, and banned it to lock down the account.

Your problem is obviously the fact that whoever you bought the account from wanted the money and the account back and scammed you. I'd try to get the money back through whatever apparatus you used to pay him, and if you can't, you learned your lesson.

uh.. where is the proof?

do you know what the ticket said? looks like he complained about a hacked acc and they just pulled you out. Or went to inspect you personally or something. Not saying it isnt detected, but that doesnt seem to prove anything, to many things could have happened.

...He(real owner) said that someone hacked the account, then GM check it, and find it was botting.....on email it was saying ... "we check the account, and dont find suspicious things(about hacking), its seems ok and you are logged in, the ip's logged in is ok, but the account was using inapropriated thir parts of program called as bot and blahblahblah"(sorry for bad english)

I've got back the money, and give the account back to the owner :P

the proof is that I just botted for 1 hour ...

why should i lie? ¬¬ im a fucker botter, and im so sad that i discover it! ...

EDIT: hours ago, before i decide to ban the account, he already has sent 3 ticket, and all gm's said same thing...'the account is ok, and theres no suspicious things(about hacking)'

You can always get banned, there's always a chance..
even playing by hand, you'd have to calculate the exact behavior of the human before being able to say "this is safe", if incase..
you were to call somebody a cocksucker (in a dungeon) your likelyhood of being banned goes up, it's too many factors (wooooah, science..)

anyways, it's not safe.. never has been, never will be.
Bot smart, and you can slow the ban.. but it will most likely come at some point ;)

everything is "safe"

Capital C, capital A, pitalism

Everything is safe. Nothing to worry about. hahahahah ehehehehe ahahahah ehehehehehehe ahhahahaha hehehehe ahahahahahah hahaha heheheh ahahahahhaha hehehe hahahaha

The main point that any successful botter will tell you is nothing is safe, but at the same time you can minimize your risk by taking certain steps like not botting 24/7, getting plugins to monitor nearby players, not using profiles that are used by alot of people, etc.

Don't get greedy and piss other botters off, they will hunt you down and they will report you.
