What is your Gem level? anyone over level 41?

Very true, if it gives you a high chance of upgrading your gems no shame in death zerging really high level rifts.

Not sure how long the 1% chance goes on for, but level 30 grifts give a 1% chance on level 45 gems, so I think it's safe to assume level 50 grifts should give at least 1% for a level 65 gem

I see. Well, my DH can close grift lvl39 but I cant get my gems above lvl40
 
Haven't been on for at least a month stopped around lvl 40 on my DH because it was dead boring I imagine anyone dedicated to the task can get their characters gems to ~50 without no lifing.
 
As I'm typing my bot is running in circles trying to discover the map. I don't understand how anyone can complete >35 in time without intervention.

It depends on what class and skills you are using. I have Crusader with Phalanx. My gem went up to level 39. I didn't do anything. Just bot did all. Isn't it the reason we are here in the first place? ;)
 
It also depends on mob density.

But looking at the bot playing at Grift 41 is so funny because it dies like once every second :P I really admire those who can do Grift lvl 50+++ manually....
 
those one who did grift 50+ do it in a team of four. With a good horrify wd you won't get killed all the time.

You have gem level 53+. That is quite good. I assume you did with bot. It is hard to raise to that level even with bot
 
No, I dont have Gem 53, thats Aazaroth :)

I cant get my gems above lvl41 even if my bot can close grift 40....
