What is the best cataclysm dungeon to farm Embersilk cloth?

I am trying to find which of the 6 cataclysm dungeons is best for farming embersilk cloth. So then I can work on making a profile for it and share in the future.

Stonecore in my opinion is the easiest one on normal mode so I would go with that one

You didn't mention on what level character you will be trying to farm the cloth, but my opinion is that Grim batol will give you most cloth from all of them simply due to the bigger amount of mobs in the dungeon(aka dont use dragon to clear them).

Oh forgot about the level..... it would be a level 90 DK blood with around 480ilvl.

Best place to farm embersilk cloth is at Deepholm at Needlerock Slag with a treasure potion.

Easy 2000-2500 cloth an hour if you are a tailor, a bit less if you are not.
Not to mention a shit load of greens that drop.


Embersilk + instances == Waste of time.

Also you can farm those at lvl 85+ easy mode.

In all fairness this place is not botted easily. A profile for a dungeon is still the best afk option..

Not to mention that everyone and their mother bots there and bot hunters regularly pay visits to file reports.
I avoid Verlok Stand like the plague.

I should point out that Tol Borad is highly AFKable... and is not Xrealm However, I still think an instance would be better.

There is another place much like this in Uldum. The Obelisk of the Moon, on the large stairs where the Schnotts Army dudes are in groups. It has the same problem as the Deepholm area with lots of competition and bot hunters. On the other hand, it is easily bottable as it's wide open pathways make it easy for the bot to navigate.

Go to wowhead and search wmbersilk. search high to low percentage. find the top 5 mobs. Manuel play the arena 1hr each. create grind profile then profit. plus there's the bonus of not running the same path as other people.

If your going to be farming often make 3+ profiles do there's irregularities in your hotspots.

some types of cloth are fastest to grind in raid instances like naxx25 for frostweave cloth ( epic mobs = more drops per mob + raid = a lot of mobs near each other )

maybe there is some good cata raid we can solo with decent geared lvl90 DK that gives a lot of embersilk?
