what is Templar followers best weapon? Can G-rift boss be freeze?

I was wondering if Azureth sword's freezing property works for Greater Rift boss.

What would be the best weapon for Templar follower? If Greater rift boss cannot be freezed, other weapon should be
used.

I have never seen a RG getting frozzed and my templar is using Azureth....but that just be because I missed it.

My Templar is using Azureth too but I didn't see rift Guardian freezing. I guess Azureth doesn't work for Rift Guardian. Can someone else confirm this?

Agree 100% its TF no contest... it procs BoT gem, roll aSI% on it and your hitting 1.47-1.5aps, use a double rolled ASI oculus for 16%asi, 7% on another ring (i prefer wydward) and 7ASI on Ess ammy. You will be rounding up and stunning everything

Find an oculus that rolls 9%asi and reroll any stat, it can reroll ASI a 2nd time 5-7% so you can get it to 16% just keep trying as it doesn't reroll ASI that 2nd time but it def does

Can followers proc gems now?
AFAIK gems doesnt work on followers.

no, TF slows mobs, and slow means control-imparing, so you dont have to sacrifice your own skills to use the BoT gem.

I use enchantress with TF with pets WD though, since Templar gets blocked by my fetish army ALL THE TIME.

Gems dont work on followers but it has been known to proc BoT gem if you are wearing it and your follower does the CCing

I switch between an Azurewrath Templar and a TF Enchantress depending on rifts/tiered rifts. Grift bosses can be frozen for sure, Almost everything can be AFAIK. For high level grifts since a heal means nothing from the templar, I use an enchantress with tfury + max IAS occy ring + dovu 80% trap amulet for group pull along with her abilities on full crowd control settings(hex chickens etc). Between tfury and how fast she attacks, the dovu amulet effect goes off ALOT.

Good setup, but I swap out the ammy, I have a hard time giving up an Ess of Johan, just works too well on mobs

I use this setup and Im closing 37 but when I get close to 40 the bot is too stupid to avoid everything that ones shoots you (thats everything )

wow. That 's really cool. My crusader finishes 33 with over time limit. He has Templar. I will try Enchantressssss...... with TF.

this was with my DH, both of them can close grift 37. My furious charge barb and pet WD closed grift 33.
