1.Paying 1 euro to use this bot.
2.Decompiling everything and seeing how it guards against Warden.
3.Secretly revising the Warden to detect this bot

????

4. Profit

Because the second Warden changes, the bot stops.

I'm saying Blizzard already know how warden detection works in db. So can't they change it in a way that will circumvent their detection system?

1. It is significantly more difficult than this post makes it seem.
2. No one outsmarts the Buddy Team.
3. Conspiracy theory guy below's reason.

more bots = more good items to sell on RMAH = more profit for blizzard

No player reporting you in Single Player Games + RMAH crybabies = No need to ban you?

I forget, but did we agree to terms that block blizzard employees and associates?

the fact that they already decided that paying programmers isnt as effective as just suing us. yes, technically there's nothing stopping them, but they already picked their pony, and if it where that easily they would of did it with honorbuddy YEARS ago.

Changing Warden would require a patch. That patch would be analyzed before the Buddy Team allowed us to use the bot. Therefore it would be circumvented before you could use the bot.

The current warden system is monitored for new warmods and if they are detected the bot is supposed to automatically trip and prevent detection. So no it would take more than that to catch the buddyteam.

It'd be a never ending battle:

Warden scans for something
HB avoids it
Blizzard reverse engineers HB/DB and scans for it
Tripwire goes off, HB team changes the offsets

Rinse and repeat until the end of time.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

actually as far as i know, tripwire has not gone off since its been implemented. and im pretty sure we haven't had to change anything in order to specifically avoid a warden patch. im not on the core dev team, but as far as i know this is the case.
