What Does MOP Dailies do ? i mean in terms of what can you achieve?

which opens up Crafting patterns only purchasable after reaching revered/exalted with X faction.
The status also allows, as said above, you to buy really nice gear. (some epics ilv 470+)
and for the achievement as well.
