It's clear as day to me you can bot to your HEARTS content.

While I may not be a 24/7 botter I certain do use that bot a good 12-18 hours a day. Became clear to me that they CANT detect the bot under normal circumstances of play.

They are detecting it through abnormal social patterns. I'm sure most botters stand out like a sore thumb. What makes you stand out?

1) You have no clan. You have no clan because you don't want people quick joining your game while you are sleeping.

2) You have a clan. You never seem to comment when you open up godly legendary items you find. To say nothing when you pop an ancient furnace is nuts.

3) Identifying 60 legendary items in 30 seconds from the previous 8 hours of botting.

4) Doing the exact same thing over and over and over and over. Aka Ghom. It's a no brainer when you see the same account doing ghom for 20 hours a day what the deal is.

They can't detect movements, the rifts or grifts you do, etc.

How do I know?

I recently got a suspension for an ingame infraction that had nothing to do with botting. Email stated they had reviewed and investigated my account thoroughly. They then showed this chat violation and put me in the penalty box for 72 hours. Pretty clear as day any suspension should be a flag that a person is botting if they have actual evidence of it going on which they clearly DO NOT.

Its people that play the game, don't say a god damn word, identify 100 legs at once and run ghom 20 hours a day that are going to get fished.

I wouldn't be surprised if people just save legendaries to identify at another time. Also, you can make it so your bot identifies after a run so if they do look for this its inaccurate IMO.

It's a two part problem. When you identify a kridershot, SMK, Furnace or any other awesome ancient gear and you don't say a word to anyone it is beyond suspicious. Heck you start identify one or two awesome items every 3-4 hours and still remain saying nothing at all.

Facts are if they could identify botting every single person that is doing Ghom and the Siege Camp Check runs would all be long gone and they ARE NOT. I still see people in my friends list doing A3 GHOM despite the fact XP and drops in greater rifts are the be all end all.

Moral of the story.

So long as you act in a normal way and are social like other players there is zero chance they'll ban you. When you have people playing this game that don't say a word for 48-72 hours its beyond unrealistic. Yes, there are some people that let it run that long.

this is retarded. most people dont speak. they are on skype/ts etc

Only losers voice chat. I seriously mean that. You must be a serious lame loser to voice chat in a game like D3. People always chat even when using voice.

Well everyone i know doesnt even play d3 anymore there doing other shit. so why would anyone need to speak. u dont need to speak in a single player game

First... I was banned only botting 3 to 4 hours a day. I was in a clan. I chatted much of the time when I was botting.

We are guessing how they caught us. You are as clueless as the rest of us.

If I where to guess.. I would think that they checked to see if the keystone was put into the nephalem rifts dialog box before clicking accept. The bot spends the keystones directly from inventory. It maybe a no brainier when you do the same thing 20 hours a day. But what does that have to do with anything? Are you saying that everyone that was banned did the same thing 20 hours a day? Read the first line of my response.

They totally can detect movements. Your client sends a location update to the server every time you move. You have no idea WTF you are talking about.

This is where Tony slaps me with an infraction for calling you a totally retarded moron.

i posted a link a few days ago. blizzard openly said what they did.

We don't have a clue why and how they ban us.

Given that, we know better than to make posts like yours.

Finding evidence based on your own single account experience, not even taking the time to read the ban section (that offers many posts showing you are wrong in several of your statements).

You sir, are a moron.

Ya because blizzard staff are sitting here reading this forum. Get real. They wouldn't need to do that if they had the tools necessary to actually find cheaters. That's a fact you "MORON".

I don't think anyone is 100% sure how they are catching people. My only thought with Diablo is they see something is attached to the client and since they cannot actually identify it they just ban you since its a closed API. I've heard of people being banned just for using a DPS meter. Unless someone actually makes it on the inside we will never know until then people will continue to speculate that blizz can see the bot. I'm not a programmer on any level but I'd have to say the Buddy crew knows what they are doing when it comes to cloaking the program since they seem to have a pretty sophisticated way of blowing the whistle and stopping the bot if warden starts snooping. VPN and Virtual machines don't even seem to do much too, they might buy you some time but again I've read many threads of people taking pretty drastic measures to prevent blizz from knowing whats running.

well, i dont think they can 100% accurately detect the bot. and i dont think it is safe to bot now.

It seems alot of banned accounts were high paragon level. Mine was 800 plus and 3 friends over 600. No friends' botting accounts under 600 were banned.
