What Do You Want to See From a New Singular?

Do you use a combat routine to raid with manual movement?

Did you talk to Echo? Afaik he had this next on his todo list after rewriting the quest profiles.
Last thing I've heard that wasn't too far away in the future.

Maybe he can even give you github access and all the shenanigans revolving around it.

Over what time is considered long for cooldowns?
Could combine presets with keybinding. Save settings as custom-named files, then let you set what keys to bind that file to.
It would take a sec to switch. Might get off another spell with current settings before it switches though (this seems fine to me).

Using hotkeys to activate settings presets would be awesome.

That way the user could define what a "long" cooldown is in the settings profile.
( I currently set it to 90s in singular when playing by hand).

I talk to Echo every day :p I helped with the functions and did the settings UI for the new questing pack.
I had svn access from a year ago when I was going to take it over in the first place (before life became a btch). Now that it's on GitHub I just made a fork that Echo and I are both admins for.

We were waiting for 7.3 for Singular, but I decided to ask for input before I started getting crazy with it. Echo and I tend to have ridiculous ideas, and I have a habit of 'go big and never finish'.
So I want to make sure my plans align with community desires to have a proper priority list.

If anyone would like to join development, feel free to poke me on Skype, Discord, or send a pm here. I've received a couple offers to help :)

I would say it needs better healing overall (tried monk, paladin, priest, shaman), it's okay, but meh.
Dunno if the settings are broken, but for me, it never uses Titanstrike's ability (Hunter, BM)

"Step 4. Make it beat Milllz profiles in raid and pvp"

Evolution is a team sport, *Piekaboo* is hinting that singular users must organize themselves, create novelty, alter their surroundings, and triumph to leave more offspring than loner individuals. *Piekaboo* demonstrates that group selection is for real and the group mind was there from the start. What we are entering now is but the latest phase in the evolution of singular.

A fascinating vision, he is certainly on to something, let's hope the ban-hammer stays away...

Did you also think about the pvp talents? Some of them are not passive ones that you can actually use :d

Actually, before legion started I had scripts to pull and generate code for every ability - spellbook, artifact, talents, and honor talents.
I'll probably update that tool. But yes, pvp talents will be on there.

Missing being able to sync trinkets usage with class skills.
Also I would like to see monks having an option to aggro mobs with black ox statue, thanks.

keep it ultra light-weight and modular (i.e. core rotation is base, trinkets, item usage, etc. all add-on components)

a button to disable targeting, as asked for above would be good, but i think even better is handling of this like singular is doing it on movement. if user selects target attack it, after it dies pick new target automatically. but ofc would be nice to have the keybinds to disable this and other things completely aswell.

idk whats possible but i can go on dreaming of stuff...

for melee classes (ranged too?). try to have it group up the melee mobs with any ranged mob thats also in fight. often times singular cleaves a bunch of melees while single ranged mob is in the back which has to be killed seperately again.
if possible prioritize the cloth wearing mobs. or even priorities by skills/spec of npc, example kill healers first then all cloth dmg dealers then melees.

would be awesome if mobs had some kind of combat raiting, so when doing ae dmg cr can pick a better target. examples, singular atm picks lowest target , it dies instantly, singular picks new low or lets say "easy to kill" target it dies with one blow again and so on. by doing it this way all tanks and a lot of dps classes wont get their ae out the right way. this happens mostly on mobs with minions that have low life.
but in addition , when this combat raiting is in place, you could have cr pick better target in regular ae fights aswell. if opponents are not too strong, target mob with highest hp, instead of lowest, the low ones will die in ae by the time the high hp mob is down.

i have an something to say i dont not if its possible or u well do it alrdy :)
it that u make it when like doing and world q or amt q make the aoe thing better like if u have good gear u can make it in the opposition that if the char can handle more then 5 or 7 mops like he pull more htne killing 1 by 1 its just un idea
best regards for all your works all the best
note make for the locks best combat routsion lol for pve destrack lock :P
sorrry for my poor english

I don't know if its possible to do something about, but what irritates me the most is when I'm being attacked by, say, three mobs and it chooses to target the caster instead of the two melee, but doesn't run toward the caster. I can't either target myself, because it will not accept it and stay on the same target.
Sometimes, I just have to turn off the targeting, but thats irritating also in some situations.
The best solution would be that I can override the standard targeting, by clicking on a mob, or pressing TAB... That mob would be the target priority then, after which it would return to standard targeting.

Looking forward to the progression thanks u both :D Singular is the base of things on HB so improving it would be a big step upward!

second the idea from tulfetta!

my 1st suggestion:
with a single keypress it should be possible to enter a "manual combat" mode:
- auto targeting disabled
- movement disabled
- auto engaging combat/fight back disabled (to prevent dismount...)
- long cooldown abilities usage and trinkets disabled
- "pull more" disabled.

this actually may be accomplished by above presets, but single-key activiation/deactivation of this mode is a must ;)

This ;)
