I only use my main account. Other than a 3 day ban a long time ago I haven't had any issues. Then again maybe I *want* to get banned so I will stop playing the game I don't enjoy playing without botting anymore.

I would never use my main account. I use hidrmyass *** for my accounts that i bot.

I have been botting and hacking on my main account for 7 years and have never been banned. But I bot for less then 5 hours a day max and hack extreamly safe. So I play everything very safe and avoid anything suspicious going on. Also helps to be luck and miss waves when things are detected like the glider banwave.

it depends on the profile your using, weather anyone bothers you and how greedy you get. if you dont get greedy you wont get banned. its as simple as that.

i guess the chance to get banned is 100%. it is just a question of time. so you have to make sure, you bot enough to make the time worth it.
for me, 1 account is payed back after 3 days of botting. rest is profic.
my main... a new account SoR50k, 3-4 DS HC runs aubout 1kk, so after about 3 month, the main has paid off. if it is banned, well, i earned enough of it, just buy a new one, buy some raids, and everything is fine

I have had some family members ask me about botting and I tell them all the same thing. Botting is fun just never bot on an account that you are not willing to lose. To me I feel its not a matter of if I will get banned just when.

I botted on archeolgy to the scarab mount on my Vanila acc with warrior with grand marshal and few glad titles still running strong lol.I assume if u dont bot gathering it will be all fine

using honorbuddy since my join date only on 1 main acc, never had a problem, earning +- 4000g/day by doing nothing is fine for me
I even traded many times gold to chinese lvl1 chars, done every possible bot in HB. It really depends on what realm u play.On my realm there are many botters and nobody gives a fack to report them.

I assume bans are mostly about "gold". If you are farming a lot which makes other botters or manual grinders angry, you will get reported and get banned. If you are undercutting prices too much in AH, other botters and manual farmers will get angry and you will get banned.

Also if u r fucking up with ppl's time like farming instances with ur dps char and it keeps pulling before the tank, causes wipes and ur toon never replies back in party chat, u will be reported and get banned...

So it is all about annoying others or not... Do not create big suspicious logs on ur account like "48 hours online" or "14000 kills of same mob" which will also piss GM's

Why should someone bother to report u when u r just doing archeology with ur main account for 8 hours a day?

Like some of the more experienced and less greedy botters, I keep it down to a MAXIMUM of 4-6k earnings a day. Some people are reporting 10-15-25k+ a day. I dont need that much attention tbh. And I have been botting on my main acct for a few years now. ive only gotten banned one time for abuse of economy. I mean, posting almost 100 stacks of Azshara's veil in the AH and announcing it on trade is smart right?? RIGHT???

Boting on main acc from since march 2012 - daily 3-6h/24 (battlegrounds only) and no ban yet. Thank you devs.

Been botting off and on ever since Vanilla on my main account. Never been banned or suspended, nor have I had any suspicious whispers, speculation, etc. If you bot smart and don't get greedy, you'll be just fine. I willl also say that in my opinion, the environment for bots today is MUCH less hostile than it used to be back in the Glider days. Back then, Blizzard took a much more aggressive approach to banning botters. Nowadays though, I don't feel that the risk is nearly as high. Using a bot for leveling purposes and other things is extremely safe. It's when you start to get greedy and abuse the economy by farming for 20 hours/day in Uldum that you grab Blizzard's attention and subsequent banhammer.

Don't be greedy.
Don't be lazy.

If you care about the account don't bot on it. Buy a throw away scroll account. Nobody should bot on accounts they dont want to lose. But I bot on all accounts I have because I honestly dont care. Banned tomorrow = oh well.
