What do you think , how high is the banrate of using HB with your Main Acc ?

This poll is so damn useless and i'm gonna tell you why.

The answer is: "Everything".

The chance of getting banned belongs to 99,9% to the person managing the bot.

- Always botting the same area
- Bot straight for xx hours
- Bot 24/7
- Spam the ah with stuff
- Tell people how cool you are and that you have tons of gold while they don't
- Be intelligent and tell other players that their profile is outdated or they should update their cc, cause the bot always runs into mobs or fight like a total retard

and you have a ban chance of 99,9% no matter if it is your main account or not.


Instead, bot smart:

- Random login behaviour
- Random online being behaviour (farming, bg's, do an instance from time to time)
- Keep your sales on an unsuspicious level, don't "pump" everything into the ah
- Change your ah character once a week/several weeks, so people won't start to remember your charname
- Try to find private buyers that buy huge amounts for a discounts
- Never ever reply to questions like "How many stacks you have" or "How many gold you have" or stuff like that, keep being native no matter if you have 10k gold or 10 million
- Don't brag arround in front of guild members and even friends, about your "business" or gold you make, some will, even if they don't say anything, be pretty pissed as they do
everything by hand
- Create your own profiles and spend enough time, testing them
- If you come back and see someone whispered you, IGNORE IT. Never reply later, no matter what you say or big story you tell, if you missed it, ignore it, change character, zone etc.

That are just basic simple rules that keep you safe.

I've been botting on my main account for ages and never been banned. I even got stuck on a mailbox in stormwind for 10 hours about a month ago and didn't get banned. It could be because I'm in a somewhat high profile guild (US Top 50) but I'm not sure. I actually feel it's safer to bot on my main account than to trade large sums between separate accounts.

Used HB on my main account only...max leveled 10 characters, farmed mining/herb with a single character at varying times of the day with mixed profiles...3 years strong with no ban.

I got bad once using Glider, since I moved over to HB 2011 I have never been banned (3 different accounts botting). I usually monitor my screens though.
