Hey.

I were thinking a little about delayed bans. I assume that Blizzard does it, for banwaves etc. But how long do you guys THINK that they are collecting data before banning?

In other words, will my account be "safe" if I don't bot anymore on it, or is it "once a botter always a botter" and risk for being banned by a delayed ban?

Hey.

I just met you, and this is crazy...

But seriously, no one knows, banwaves are random. Sometimes it's months between them, sometimes it's days. Whatever they feel like doing at the time.

Didn't ask about hard facts, asked about what people THINK.

The bot isn't detected, they have nothing they can hold against you. If they DO have scripts watching for patterns, i would also imagine they have zero reason to hold out. If you trip their scripts, you're outta there as we have seen this past week.

Disclaimer: I actually have no idea what im talking about and noone should take anything i ever say seriously.. /snicker

You have a subforum to discuss ban theories, you guys begged for it, now go use it. Stop spamming that shit. If you bot, you might get banned, deal with it.

This.

You don't really want to know what I think because I'd just flame you.

after 2 months of not botting, you should be safe.

I feel that if they think you did something wrong they should be made to take action as soon as they think you did something wrong.
Then you should be able to take them to court and make them give proof of what they think you did and how they got that information.

Of course they refuse to do this and the courts just sit and do nothing about it.
its all bull shit, just like activision.
