What do you farm with and why? Advice?

I'm currently farming on a CM wizzard making roughly 250k gold per hour. I have around 250 gold find on my character, and 300+ with 5 NV stacks. I heard someone else suggestion to get GF gear with pickup radius, so I think that may be my next investment. However I have been thinking, is wizzard that effective at gold farming? Or should I be using my gold to gear the wizzard to farm items on inferno in the latter acts? Currently farming hell act 3 for gold.

Or should I ditch the wizard and level a DH for my gold-farming needs? I'm new to this so any advice and info would be greatly appreciated.

Im currently in the works of setting up VMware so I can use my computer for other needs while boting, also if I do level a DH should I hand level or bot queen to 60?
 
running barbs a1 champs
1)250% base mf - averages about 120k/hr + items and salvage mats

2)250 base gf - averages 210k/hr + items and salvage mats

2g with selling mats and just the gold picked up probably getting 500k/hr not counting Item sales.


Few people posted some news on WD but thats if you wanna test it, heard cheap to make one too .
 
personally i'd ditch the wizard and the gold farming. barb/monk champion runs seem to be the trend recently. im making atleast 10 million a day just selling stuff it picks up and if i get lucky with an item, even more
 
If your going to goldfarm, best to get a ranged character that can move quick, namely a DH. Ive tried a wizard and its not as efficient, I was able to make was close to 400k max and this was pre patch. On my DH post patch, with 290GF+10 ferrets+25 merc+ NV and max 56 PR, 27k DPS, i make roughly 550k gph.

Once i start replacing some GF gear with pure damage gear, id image my GPH would be higher but ill need to watch the Game limit as I would plow through everything..

Ive also experimented with both a Goldskin and a non goldskin bot, and the goldskin does make slightly more gold, just depends mainly on your dps. also + disc helps, but dont get more than 10 because your DH wont even use it all.

I just started Champ farming, cant say too much about it with all the plugins not really working correctly. infact i think im in the negatives right now considering the repair costs.

I spent about 30m of my Act 3 barb and i spent only 10m on my DH gold farmer, just to give you a rough idea on how much youll be lookng to spend.

I plow through act 1 and 2, done it for 2 days before deciding to move to act 3 which was yesterday. I just need to tweak a few things and should be fine. I average about 5 deaths/hr which isnt horribly bad. Hadnt had any luck on drops though but im reading that giles stash plugin hasnt been working properly which could be one of the many reasons for my bad luck lol.

I'm doing mainly core runs right now, I switch between core on hell and act I inferno champion farming. Its been going well, I've made roughly 8 mil gold in the last 3 days, which I know isn't a lot but I have just started botting. I am thinking of making a WD maybe instead of a DH, but it all depends on how long it would take to get one up and running. The DH sounds pretty tempting tho with cheap start up costs.
 
i dont know how much goldskins cost now, i had purchased mine when it was 3.5m but that 1 item is bis by far for gf since it covers 3 pieces of 25% gf youll only need to pay for PR and main stat gear. saves you $$
 
yea IM working on a DH now, hopefully it turns out well. Who knows, if I enjoy it enough might make him my main well see in the lvling process.
