Is the farming easilly detectable ?

they make take a look into your acc if u get reported by few players ( i dont think so one person reporing gives enoug proof to blizz to waste their time to watch you)
so try to keep low profile with mats u post on ah etc and sell them on another toon than you farm ( i do so ) it doesnt prevent ppl adding you to friend list but may make the change lower , i stalk some fellow botters just for fun .

It can be if you're running the same profile for hours on end. You'll start winding up in the same spots after the same amount of time - if in doubt, swap farming profiles around after a little bit and avoid using the same profile for a long time.

I might want to change my profile then lol... been using the same one for about 3 days 10-12 hours a day. It is a custom profile though, does that change anything?

You mean that people can report me or blizz can detect me directly ?

idk if Blizz can detect HB so much as notice a pattern of behavior. If enough reports come in to flag you as an account of interest and they start watching you more closely, you're more liable to be caught if you're running the same profile all day every day.

Custom profiles help separate you away from the other HB users your server no doubt has, but eventually the patterns become recognizable. Create a few separate profiles for different gathering routes and swap them out every little while, mix it up a bit.

I would say it would be pretty easy to detect us if they wanted to (Remember we're money for them)
I mean take questing for example, some ppl get stuck for a long time, heck even running into a wall and doing slidestops over and over in 5 minutes would look rather suspicious..
You wouldnt click on a fence, try to go around then click on the fence over and over
