What Class Needs a New CC?

Well this is just me but I was looking for a priest cc that just heals party members that will defend itself when attacked.

Frost mage, Think that would be the best one to do right now, A good frost mage profile can level very fast, And its also good for anyone on a PvP server if the CC is good at kiting (IE if mob in 5yards, Frost nova, Jump to the side, Spam, CC Breaks and FN on CD Cone of Cold > Frost bolts, rince and repeat. ) That combo is taken from one i used to have for a very old bot that used CC's aswell, this proved very effective not on just killing mobs, but for killing the odd ganker.

Warlock with better support for all three specs is badly needed. And flexible rotations is a plus!

Pretty much what do you guys want as a new CC?

If i do build a New CC it will be

1. Fully Supported
   • For every spec!
   • PVE "grinding" and PVP
2. Built for PVP from the ground up!
3. Logic will be written For lvl 80! then added from that point on!
4. Customizable
5. Support Trinkets
6. Will probably not support RaF

I just want to get a general idea of what is needed, but ultimately it's my decision! And if there really isnt any interest in a new CC i really wont waste my time!

I too was looking at writing a new CC. And given the results of the poll I started on the old forum is likely to be a mage.

For the life of me I can't understand why so many people are voting for a new Druid CC when mine is perfectly usable (exceptional as commented by a number of people) and supports multiple trees.

So it looks like ill have to Chose Between

1. Mage
2. Warlock
3. Druid

While i Have never Played a Mage, Have No idea how to play them. It looks like its really needed

I have Played PVP with a Warlock. other then that I still have not a Clue how to play them Correctly

And the Druids I Have Played Hard Core with in Raiding scenarios.



But i will most likely be chose one of these 3. Still have not made up my Mind! Don't be afraid to post your opinion!

well, looks like most agree mage needs a good cc ... i hope if you do make a new mage cc you can at least test it for raf because none of the current ones i have tried work with being a raf follower ...

I generally start BGs about 60ish. I will do some AB/WSG mix if I happen to be lvling in high population areas and want to be out of site every once and a while, but Once 60 comes around I am almost always doing some sort of mix.

I'll likely add PVP support to my Druid CC, but only in the form of dedicated healer. There are not nearly enough healers in BGs.

I've been using the default Mage CC from level 1 to 20 and it could do with some... polish.
