What about PayPal and SMS security (multibotting) ?

I've been looking through a forum and haven't found anything about multibotting and PayPal and SMS security.

Do you guys link your one and only PayPal account to all your bots or are you trading gold / items from bot that doesn't have PP linked to the bot that has?

I think since 1.0.5 you can't link your mobile phone number to more than 1 bnet account... PayPal is not enabled since you don't have SMS security enabled...
How do you guys deal with that? You buy SIM cards or ... ?
 
I was about to ask the same question.

My main account, with my main char etc etc has a paypal linked. All my bots got no paypal, and I wanted to give one of the bots access to paypal, and the other bots can trade him the items, thus avoiding my main. It would be the same Paypal as the main account though.

Like Pindleskin asks, is this an issue?

I guess the question was whether or not you guys think this puts the main account at risk? Getting traded items from bots?

I know one can only speculate, but more opinions have often helped in making the right choice.
 
i funnel everything to my main account (with the pay pal ), unload at the rmah and make fat stacks (i make very little...) But i've only been doing this for the week. Another way i guess would be to use buy prepaid cell phones, but that'll run you about 20 dollars a month to keep it activated.

I trade all my bots items and gold to my 1 non botting account, and sell on RMAH, been doing this for 2-3 months now.

But i just wana help, if this will help.

Did anyone try to use this Textfree Web for Free Unlimited Texting From Your Computer ?

It gives you free # that u can receive SMS to it.

So i think u can use it, im not really sure and i never tried it.

I also think that it only gives US numbers.

Has anyone thought of just transferring items/gold to your main? Have a friend or just simply do the transfer yourself. Sell everything on your main account
 
I simply go into the game with my main + bots, drop everything on the ground, pick it up on main, sell it .. GG?
 
you are allowed to put the same paypal to any number of accounts, Blizz does not care or monitor that in any way. The SMS however, a phone number can only be linked to one account (which is required to use paypal).... I've considered buying a cheapass prepaid but in the meantime ive just been only selling the 10 highest value items, and selling the rest for gold on my actual bots, xfur the gold, sell the gold.

I've only been prompted 2x to enter a code, hundreds of items listed, maybe 100 sold... The 2nd time it asked me for EVERY item posted, did 4 and got sick of it, came back a while later and was able to post without a code
