Weird scammers.

So i just came home from work after being away from the pc for 26 hours. I told the bot to farm for 6 hours and then log off and when i came home this evening my tauren was just sitting on her kodo like nothing ever happened. No dc, full bags and have probebly just been chilling for around 18 hours on the same spot.

Anyway, i find this scams kinda funny even tought i find it weird that people are looking for botters ? trying to scam them because they may or may not have alot of gold....

They aren't looking for botters, they just spam people hoping someone is stupid enough to fall for that, because some are actually that dumb.

I've noticed a lot more of these PMs lately, like out of the blue suddenly getting one every day. It's pretty cool, reminds me of the old days.

I used to reply pretending I had fallen for it acting concerned etc. and then waste their time asking stupid questions

I think they do monitor time online and if someone is above a certain amount of hours they spam those GM whispers to them.

Install a wow chat window automatically blocking whispers from level 1 chars and you will never see such things again. It's a hoax and i wonder that still people don't know and ask questions about such whispers

Or install WIM addon so the whispers are separately opened.

And Blizz have more acceptable ways to reveal botters, indeed, thankfully they still regret to do it
