We all knew the risk (customers) - Asking for a refund is chicken shit

I used the bot for like 7 hrs? and i got 2x 1yr sessions.....u would not ask for compensation?

I feel that for those who had the miss fortune to purchase the bot right before this action there is plenty fair reason for compensation. But there are going to be plenty who have used the bot over the last week+ that will be expecting full refunds..... and that is chicken crap.

I have been a most gracious user of the buddy products for the past year+ I stopped playing wow after purchasing a lifetime key, and I purchased a life time key for D3 once it released. I will expect no refunds no matter the result from either suit against bossland. Personally I feel botting adds a needed aspect to the game, it brings market prices down to a competitive level and allows your average players to be able to afford the high end crafted items / the most elite drops without spending months on months farming either the matts or the item.

I hope that all the suits go in the BuddyBots favor and I have been more then happy with all their products.

I would never ask for a refund. I'd actually donate to their legal dilemma.

I understand people who would want a refund when noone including myself had much use before it was taken down. Not everyone sells gold and makes money from this, but want to support the guys so wont be asking for a refund. Goodluck =]

hell I bought it 2 hours after release... still haven't used it because of crashing. I will not be asking for a refund.. look at the risk they're taking.. goodluck!

Stop with the stupid fanboyism. This isn't blizz forum.

If ppl want a refund they'll get one.

Except it's not so simple. There's the issue of doing what's right. Not one person here has said refunds won't be issued.

honestly, bosslands overly nice. A lifetime subscription to a product is not defined as to "your lifetime" lol... its referenced as a lifetime of the product or the products support. Look it up numerous lawsuits have failed and it has been proven already... smh at silly people just greeding away.

what do you people think the devs did with there lifes when writing this? and dealing with the forums and non stop support ? collect welfare? this is there lively hood and took alot of time, I myself and glad to support something this strong.

1. They are standing up not only to blizzard but to a president that will set a larger set of global fights towards botting. If blizz loses we win... and if every one caves? we lose.
2. They are good at what they do, fabulous support, and very timely updates and overall enjoyable people to deal with.
3. Known blizz is suing them due to one product as is, would u get a Diablo 3 key banned and demand a refund? it is a "lifetime" key....
4. You knew it was wrong you did it anyways, the outcome has always been the same history has repeated itself, and when it happened again your like DOH how didnt we know

VIVA EL REVELUTION support DEVS ALL THE WAY rob me take my soul to fight this beast

Buying a product using it for a while then demanding a refund is one thing.
Buying a product and using it for 2 days then it gets shut down is another.

I am sticking around because I am a positive person and I am hoping they made the right choice by picking to fight this in Germany.....but does anyone remember WoWGlider? They lost......they lost 6 million.

But wow glider was made in USA.

But i do agree with what some people are saying, i am in the same boat, i just bought a 1 year x3 session and if this is down for more then a few days i would like to see a reset on time used on the key, so if its out for 1 week i want that week back so i can use it. if he still gives extra sessions for it thats cool too. but i could careless.

they are pretty well known for crediting down time back to people

Thats cool, just because the session doublling is nice for sticking around but crediting the time should be a given since we couldnt use it at all.

100% agree with OP, not sure i'll be asking for a refund either no matter the end of this, out of principle.

Wont ask for a refund, but at least the days the bot was offline wont count. I bought it only for 1 year...

In professional terms, Bossland has stated refunds are an option in 2 forms now and is very respected in my opinion for keeping that offer up. Some people use bots as a very serious way of making money, and to not get the product they paid for is simply wrong. The buddy team is not the guilty party, blizzard is!

The ones who are DONATING their money by saying "No matter what happens you can keep my money," are also very kind. You just need to get off of your high horse and understand some people aren't diehard buddy-product users and aren't in the mood to just donate their money to essentially a botting charity. I've been with them since honorbuddy was unleashed into the wild, and I have never doubted them since. Trust won't solidify our win in the legal system, however, supporting them is a good start.

I think no less of those who are wishing for a refund. However, when we pull through you better come back, and you'll wish you didn't for those bonuses :P.

Only reason I am asking is because I used the bot for 2 hours on 1 guy, and paid $70 for 3 for lifetime. I will re-purchase if it goes back online.

This is a stupid thread with a stupid opening post.

Many of us here bought the bot but have not even made use of it. I bought the bot, tried it for a few hours, and then decided to wait until the bot is out of its beta stage.

Why would it be so wrong for someone to ask for a refund for a pre-order on a product that has been indefinitely postponed?

I am not requesting a refund at this moment but I would expect to receive one if it turns out that the product is cancelled.

tl;dr we all know that we all know that we take the risk, people were upset that they might lose money since they cant use the product... I guess if you've just brought the product and you don't know the aspects of the forum you might feel panicked that you've lost money since you can't use the product which I think is an acceptable reason for a refund.

I'm glad this happened because they're now giving away an extra free session (like a loyalty card).

When i bought the bot there was nothing else i wanted to do with that 27 Euros or so. If there would have been i would not have bought the bot ^^ so i dont care about the money. I just hope that Bossland kicks Blizz and everything works again so that the game is fun again ^^.

Damn never botted before but its just fun to watch the Bot run ^^ and when a profile works xD

what are you 12? People can decide if they want a refund or not. I personally don't but it's none of your business for people that do. You should get over yourself.

Pretty much this. These kids are always trying to force their agenda on others.

Having bought 2 x 3 lifetime licenses, I'm worried that even if/when DemonBuddy comes back up, it will be severely outdated compared to the competition. But give it time and DemonBuddy should eventually match and even surpass the competition - but the question is how long this will take.
