WD the most successful bot class?

Heya guys.

Like the title says, is WD the most successful class to bot with atm?

My barb and my WD has the same gear, I think my barb even have better weapons, yet I managed to do a 61 grift with my WD(acid) and only 50-53 with my barb(hota).

What do you guys think? I really like to bot my WD but would like a side class to gear up that can manage higher grifts with ease :)
 
What builds are people using for WD now? I have been concentrating on my Barb and Monk for the most part...

The important point here is that HotA can be played with crown in cube and hellfire ring. It's a +86% xp bonus.

For paragon farming, doing 48-50 Grift as a Hota Barb is the most efficient xp farm with 40 to 50B /h (full ancien gear).

Pushing the highest rift possible for the sake of it is rarely the best wayto play D3 in termes of loot and/or XP.
 
using leorics on a WD cuts down massively on dps from grin reaper loss of mimics, barb is better for leo crown. However I am doing just fine with my WD(just ruby in helm, leo ring for 3% more on follower) I pull 30b/hr easy, I like to ramp up my bot before I let it go by stacking up 40-50bil in pool exp(1hr max if not less running nephalem rifts) then set WD to 50 or 55 and let him rip thru it over and over. I am just over para 930 now, its slowing down for sure but still amazing exp. Probably going to stop around 300, fill out some other chars, farm tons more ubers for necklaces etc and then get whatever perfect items I need finished for the season. Already leveled multiple sets of trapped/stricken/esos/powerful and other gems to r70. Not sure why but I was previously just swapping out a gem each time so my bot had a fresh one to upgrade as it progressed each rift so I would wake up each night to a new set of gems for other chars high rank ready to go, before I realized its better just to set adventurer to 1% chance and let it rip. even a 1% upgrade chance you will be surprised how quick gems go up.

I did SOME testing with my barb, who was my first seasonal char originally followed by monk. and cubing leos etc just feels weird hota barb with no bracers for speed/extra dmg. he always parsed around 25-30b WITH pool exp running 50s, the bracer loss in exhcange for cube seem to add an extra 1-3 minutes to his rift time. My WD meanwhile finishes 50-55s in 4-6 minutes, 7 if it gets a bad map with low density etc.

leoric/rorg cube , grin reaper helm 5p helltooth , dps is still alot for GR60s if u have gg gear
 
Anyone have some opinions regarding classes besides WD being very successful in grifts? :)
 
Running 60-61 but mostly 59 for clear times with U6+Elements ring monk, does pretty good too

Fist is a 95%, Belt is a 3.4% and legendary gems (bane of the trapped and stricken) are level 75

Damage on the tab is with Gogok stacks, without it it's around 1.7 millions
When running 59's i cube the Madstone and set trinity to cast SSS before generator, so it's automatically spreading the palm as soon as the bot engages, for 60+ i revert that and cube the Spiritguard bracers or Gungdo Gears

Running WD, not using Leorics
Farming 60 Grifts

Reaching from 40b to 50b xp/hour

WD can clear 60 so much faster than anything else, it compensates for the Leoric

Only Using Red gem in head

Paragon level 1115 atm
 
When did you guys noticed the grifts was getting easier for you bots? I have botted for at least 100 hours now without a single item upgrade now :/

What i do for upgrades:
cube bounty mats to reforge focus/restraint and very rare items
cube rare>legendary for weapons mostly
gamble items which cost 25shards to upgrade gear.

Grifts are good but not the best way to upgrade when especially you have alrdy decent gear

Actually haven't tried to get better rolls with cube, only trying to get gear thru grift+shards.

90% of my gear is from cube all ican say. i use shards mostly for items that cost 25 shards when i grift
