Watching a Monk bot smash my geared Necro for XP?

Hi guys,

I have 1250 para necro doing 87GR in about 7-9 mins on average. 85+ Augments on everything apart from 3 slots.

I am watching this other bot playinga LoN monk totally destryoing me in paragon levels. In about 24 hours he has gone from 1300-1396 para. I have gone from low 1220-1260.

I have been reading that people are doing 90 speeds on a necro and im sure ill get there but I am wondering if there are any pro botters who can shed some light on what the hell this monk is doing right and I am doing wrong.

Probably running 70-80's lon ltk with pools. That's bout it. Lon ltk is hard to gear but when it's geared it smashes 70 speeds with pools. Probably even faster than wiz.

Thought it was that and tried my monk but couldnt pull it off. But yeah I see him in level 72GR and rifts only. Ill work on my monk, Thanks for the help.
 
Smashed? The xp per hour ur nec is getting with the times u cited is about 160ish billion per hour. Your monk at best would be close to that if he wasn't using pools. Even at 5 minutes per 72, you won't be breaking into 200 billion.

Xp per hour is what you refer to with xp farming. Not paragon to paragon.

P.s Nothing is higher than necro atm. You can't exclude farming regular rifts for keys and assume burning keys is the fastest. Even if your getting the same xp as the necro, you're burning through keys twice faster, so you spend more time farming for keys which totally destroys your xp gaining.

The thing is that doing speed 70's grants you ALOT more legendaries/h and therefore faster full primals. It will take ages for a necro to get full primal. But sure, i get your point.

Who cares about primal. Unless you have horrible ancient rolls, primals won't give you much boost. They're perfect rolled ancients, how much could you get from a helm for example? An extra 50 primary stats? Unless you get these primals right away they become redundant after you have good ancients. Paragon points are all that matter for higher level pushing.
