Wasn't Demonbuddy supposed to be the ''safe'' bot?

There have been IB bans. Just saw some posts flipping through a few pages at ownedcore. 6/6, 5/5, ect.

true Tony but how should we level up our toons? questing is not possible atm. cause there is no random dungeon support. we only can use the same profiles to level up..

I agree, there are basically 2 profiles for DB and that is all. The rest require you to play demobuddy while it plays d3!

what we are going to change in DB is that behaviour,so grredy users should be safe as well

What is that supposed to mean?
I like this bot, this community and you guys and idc at all i got banned since i made quite alot of money, but I dont understand why instead of admitting you failed at some point and chose speed over detection, you are blaming us for basically using the bot.
Yes, sarkroth runs take less than 30 seconds, but thats just the way the bot works - im sure i can get <30s runs even with default sarkroth profile and no plugins, so how is it our fault?

Look, I was a major time botter with IB, had 12 bots. I don't know you well, or your profits but I was cashing in every single day like it was Christmas bonus payday with IB. I loved IB man, loved it dearly. And also used DB. with 2 accounts. The 12 of those IBs accounts were insta banned one day. Like nothing. And those 2 that were using DB? 1 of them banned. IB IS detected, DB is NOT. We are getting bans over here because people run 24/7 sarkoth run with average time of 7s for fail runs and 18s for successful runs. Not normal at all. With DB its more about luck. With IB, you are gonna get all your accounts swiped in ONE single strike. It might not happen today or 2 weeks from now or even later. But the fact is that IB is detected.
 
What you guys are failing to understand is that its ALWAYS the profiles that are getting detected, not the bots.

BLIZZARD CANNOT LEGALLY SCAN OUTSIDE D3'S PROCESS

So... any decent python programer isn't going to have any issues with detection or warden.

What makes demon buddy the best imho, is the large community that shares their work, and constant updates from an experienced dev team.

I'm sure demonbuddy will out evolve its competition, well at least that's where i put my money.

My only complaint is with blizzard, two words sum up this game.

NOT FUN

(with or without bots)

Oh well, ill just sell gold to noobs for more money I don't need while I still can.

you're an idiot, what kind of drugs are you on? I want them.

"nobody has been banned", you're a fool, go read ownedcore, dozens of threads from IB bans (users only using IB) and even on their own website people were banned and posted about it.

just because you're one of the few that didn't get banned doesn't mean "no one got banned".

I believe most bans (the person with ONE account banned) is due to running other programs and being flagged blizz does not ban right away. mass account bans (7x24/7 sark from the same IP) would look fishy to anyone on blizz end looking i would think
 
Why does IB not getting bnned? I would assume Sarkoth runs also just take 45 secs with this bot. So what's the difference?

unless you use it like a completely greedy retard and bot for 24/7 a day..

it is getting banned, IB had shit tons of bans, like I said, read Ownedcore forums.

why don't people ever read/research before spewing shit out? =/
 
What a good reading thread :)

So I just started using buddy products. I used to use Priox on wow before he stopped. I now use buddy for wow and D3. I have been botting total for about 2 years. No bans at all and here is why....

I don't bot for profit. The only reason I started botting D3 was because the AH flew out of control with items prices. They have stuff listed for 1 billion gold....WTF is that! and the RMAH which was a stupid stupid idea by blizz has junk listed for hundreds.

I'm still not trying to make money I just want to keep up.

Also as I have posted before, I think it is just the luck of the draw. I do not think there is anything that makes you get caught. There are people on here who bot 24/7 and have not been banned. Others bot for an hour and get smacked. I bot for like 12 a day, and then at times take a 2 day break. Then I'm back at it. I don't use AGB, and I only farm sarth. I have 1 account, 1 bot. but I have hand raised and play all of my other 60's. I think a GM just sits at a computer looks at who is in a game and picks a name to look at. There have to be thousands of games for them to review. If they get a hit on you, then they go balls deep in research. If you look legit they move on.

I fee like the profiles are what gets there attention, after that its what your account history looks like that gets you banned. Anything out of the outside of normal progression = banned, i think if they see people trying to make money with the game and not play it=banned.
On the same token, if they look at my account. I gf, buy more gf gear. I have other toons with ok gear but never sold anything on the RMAH. So they move on. That could all be warped belief, but I have not been banned yet,**knocks on wood**

I dont know man My friend must have been very unlucky he bought db the day of the ban he bot for only 2-3 hours of sarkoth and got banned. his gear was crap so he died alot so his runs were very slow and he had to do alot of manual movements so his routine was very irregular but he still got banned..

What you said does not make much sense. How did he have to do a lot of manual movements if he was running a sarkoth profile? Also dying a lot can be a major flag in my opinion. Who in the hell is going to die 58 time in 2-3 hours?I know I picked the 58 number but that was just to prove a point, I would call that a bot too. Most people who have any common sense would go back a few quests to what they can handle.

So if a GM happened to look at him dying tons on the trash outside the cellar over and over and over, I'd ban you too. If you were not botting and you were just stupid, I'd give it back after you complained.

The bot is safe. It also depends which profile you use. The creators have no blame or failure in making this bot. They didn't get you banned. They didn't tell you which profile to use. It's the profile that you picked to use that got people banned.

Just saying that it's not DemonBuddies fault for people getting banned. Atleast IMHO.
 
I don't even know what to say to this... but lol. You guys are clearly new botters if you say DB is detected. If you have ever seen a single banwave for a massive bot company before (IE glider/ryftomate) then you would know.... EVERY POST WOULD BE BANS AND THE SERVER WOULD GO DOWN. Now off with caps locks. But banwaves are massive and ban everyone all at once. If you have ever seen a banwave then you would know the post would be so large the server would crash. Blizzard also wouldn't sue a company they could counter. They just look for retards who bot 24/7 and have thousands of kills all in one session of the same thing. And they also clearly have shown they are banning by IP/MAC address. So.... in conclusion, IT'S YOUR FAULT! GOOD DAY SIR.
 
Although DB is a great bot, very safe when not over used as well as great support. I feel it lacks a few things which are needed to make the bot fantastic. These things would include; automatic profile switching to prevent easy detectability, and also more profiles.. So many Sark/Core/Goblins... it'll get suspicious.
