Was just banned for the second time.

Only used BGbuddy and a bit of grindbot, while closely monitoring it. However I did afk with BGbuddy.

I was banned maybe a year ago on the same account.

Is it possible to appeal, if so what should I say?

This is my main account and yes I understood the risk.

Thank you for any advice you guys may have.
 
BG botting is probably the most detectable as your around other human players at all times. Never AFK bg botting. I dont BG bot ever. Too many ppl against it now adays and it's too easy for them to right-click ur name and click "Report".

Understood, however does anybody know if they do a second appeal?

Especially as careless as the kids are. If it wasn't for selfish botters the animosity would be almost nil.

IMHO hb shoulda cut folks off after a 10 hour straight session or something - but that's another topic all together.

Thank you for your response Phelon always super helpful. And just clear up I never did anything crazy, BG buddy for at most 6-7 hours straight, with a good bit of babysitting probably 70-80%.

As far as the appeal goes I guess admitting of actions/guilt etc is best way to go?

NEVER admit anything. Play stupid as fuck. Do not blame your brother/cousin/etc. Most of the bans are automated, which means no GM was there to verify. Play stupid and say people were harassing you by reporting you. Make up some good story for as to why you were reported. If it was an actual GM ban (which I doubt it was) then you are screwed. Otherwise, play dumb and be adamant that you were playing. BG botting isn't one of their top offenses.

Ok Id go this route, I have gone the admission route before and it worked when i was using gatherbuddy, what type of excuse should I use if i dont say a family member was playing?
 
I have BG botted 4 characters from 90 to 100 over the past week and a half. Done right it is imo the safest thing to do if you are using a good CR and botbase. If you are going to bot in BGs please make sure to do your research first and do it correctly :) Cheers
 
I would go along the lines of this. "Why the F*** did you ban me? Is it because you think I play to long! Well I can't help it I have no life since I lost both my legs in a car accident 1 year ago." That would should do the trick.

I havent entered a BG in years, due to how many bots are running around in it. Its just so noticeable who is a bot and who is not, but yea if you get some good CR's and Millz Botbase its decent but I would never afk it :P
 
So any tips on how I should go about the appeal? I've already had my first one work, in which I admitted that I broke the rules and was sorry and that I've had the account forever etc.
 
There's a small chance they won't notice the previous ban if you've had a lot of other support tickets(calls or e-mails to support for various other issues). Have they specifically e-mailed you anything mentioning this is your second offense? If they don't specifically mention it your "I've had the account forever" excuse might help, and even then say you panicked last time and admitted it because your guildies said Blizzard would give it back even though you weren't botting.
 
No offense, but you had it coming. Everyone in BG world knows that bots exist, and they're specifically watching for them every game. They see you = instant report. Think about it, how pissed off would you be if you joined a BG and realized half the players aren't doing anything to contribute, only fighting pointless fights mid map.
 
And the fact that you got banned once for it, then done did it again, makes me #1 SMFH, #2 LAWL

Ok for one I do play BG's all the time, and I notice the bots but it doesn't matter cause there is usually an equal amount of bots on the otherside, meaning its much easier to win, secondly the first time I was banned I was doing gatherbuddy.

I fully understand the risks and am not asking for any buddies sympathy or scrutiny, I am just asking if anyone has successfully appealed a ban the second time and what they said in the appeal to do so.
