warzones - pvp - please reconsider

Has HB not convinced you that these guys can make a good PVP bot? I mean it was called Honorbuddy to farm honor from PVP long before it had questing capabilities, it's the only reason I used it and personally i've never had an account banned. I'm not saying HB is/was perfect but it was more than enough I think, it played better than most people manually anyways and the fact that your name was above average on scoreboards took a lot of people off your back.

SWTOR sucks because the PVE is complicated to bot, I had a massive headache last night when I was attempting to make questing profiles for the first time. In my opinion the one thing SWTOR seems to have which is easier is the PVP, it seems to me that compared to WoW the warzones are actually quite simple or as simple anyways with the exception of huttball (I understand this would be difficult), and there's half the amount of warzones as well.

Civil War = Arathi Basin
Novare Coast = Arathi Basin

I understand it's not a priority right now, personally I think it should have been one of the first things to be made. At this point it's obviously best to continue in the path that's been started, fixing the space bot should be the #1 priority, I actually desire a working background spacebot more than a questing bot personally.

Please don't discount the idea of a warzone bot, it shouldn't be at the bottom of the list.

That's a pretty well made point.

I'd also like to say that it may still take some time for WingBuddy to make real progress, after all the game is still new frmo the industry point of view and many more changes ( I hope ) are to come to SWTOR.

A really good working space bot would be awesome, as it stands now though, I'm aware there is another product which dodges, uses missiles and completes the higher end space missions for you. Though it really would not be as good as BuddyWing as it uses images to compare and point/click from the mouse.

Thing is, WZs are 8 man per team, and with HB I only ever played AV because there are 40 of you and there's a small risk of detection. With WSG, for example, I have had numerous people notice that my character was behaving weird. So no, botting WZs is not a good idea because players are likely to notice the bot and report you.

I am botting since years in wow and even (sometimes especially) the ones with few players.
20/7 due to the fact that small downtimes are safer and i NEVER EVER had a ban!
Please don't tell me that everyone was / is using honorbuddy just for the AV with 40 players...

I really couldn't care less about warzones. Please let the devs keep this feature way at the bottom of the pile because I want everything else a *LOT* more than this.

Well, if a couple of people keep posting the same question, I will keep giving the same answer.

In it's current state, nothing should be added to BW since it's highly unstable. What should be added is simple stability. As long as there are slews of people that have already dropped the bot because it errors out, or errors out after the first try, or just doesn't move at all in some cases, or refuses to load a class.... As long as those issues haven't been resolved, no one should even be thinking about adding features that will undoubtedly make the bot even more unstable.
But alas, even Tony has stopped responding to topics about those issues, let alone any developer paying them any attention.

My prediction is that you will get your PVP before I ever get a stable bot.

Product development is all about priorities. My priorities are different from yours. If someone says "I need a PVP bot" and I don't counter that then my priorities will never be heard and thus I don't get the product I want.
Therefore I will always state that I don't need a PVP bot but I need other stuff (stability to start with, space missions after that).

If there's only one person that has to choose whether to spend time making bananas or making apples then for sure the second statement will impact the first.

honorbuddy, given its obvious name origins, started as an exclusively PVP bot, i find it a little funny that swtor bot doesn't even have support for pvp.

ive been using HB for long time, and i love it. and ive been botting on games for along time too, i also play swtor, and i have not bought a wingbuddy key just because of this, the only thing im interested in botting on swtor is warzones, thats it.

PVP bot will draw unwanted attention and will create more problems, more reports. Not all people reporting PVE bots, but all players report PVP bots.
