Haha. I was thinking the same thing. This guys idea is alright. Although, why is he playing the role of a GM? He's spending ALL of his time trying to find these botters instead of playing the game for himself. Don't you think that is odd? Spending all of your paid time to ruin other peoples paid time? *shruG*
 
This made me laugh. His descriptions of "botting characters" are nothing like any of mine. I have pretty decent gear on mine, along with achieves since I do BGs/Explore/ect. I may only have 1 gathering profession but thats bc I have JC on my BS and Alcy on my Herb. sheesh.

What sucks is I'm starting to get the feeling that some of the gold farmers are reporting players that are botting in their areas. I've ran across several obvious bots in the past couple of days and after being in the same area for awhile receive a tell from a level 1 toon with a Blizzard related name telling me that my character had been reported for abuse and to go to *insert scam website here* or have my account suspended.

The last time this happened I received a 72 hour ban soon after. We'll see what happens in the next couple of days. I could just be paranoid but botters reporting botters to weed out competition wouldn't surprise me.
 
Like Morga & Dayloon I had a feeling to start a new account and bot on Ravenquest and start a Guild called something like 'Botters against Ravenquest'...

Anyway, that guys thread shouldn't last too long, if I remember correctly Blizz don't allow naming and shaming on the forums...
 
Yes namecalling is forbidden...and the thing told by the gm he posted is worthless as a GM isn't a CM...and CMs rule the forums!

But I also would like to make a toon there and found a guild like Botters vs Cernunos :)
